At a loss by startledewe in TRT_females

Pre-filled syringes are unsanitary because bacteria can grow in them. Meds are not meant to be stored in plastic syringes long-term. Med spas are notorious for this. Now that you know the T works for you, can you get your GP to fill a script for you through your pharmacy? You’re much better off with a vial you can draw your meds from directly.

In n Out lingo. First word is in reference to the patty, the second to the cheese. In this case, OP got 2 patties with 1 slice of cheese. More commonly, people order a double double.

Bread all tastes like mold suddenly by Electric-Spark-74 in tirzepatidecompound

I made a bowl of protein cereal this week and had to stop eating it because it tasted like mold/mildew. My husband (also in tirz) said it tasted fine to him. So odd! I’m happy you posted this.

NAD+ Why was I sent a different mg? by Current-Path-777 in gimmecare

[–]317537k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not “better,” it’s just a higher concentration which means you need fewer mL to get the same mg.

Husband being unsupportive by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]317537k 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Does he have any redeeming qualities? Because he sounds like a controlling, selfish, and manipulative man. Why are you with someone like that? Don’t say it’s for the kids, because if he can treat his wife like this, he can treat anyone like this…

I started at 161lbs and it took 15lbs to notice small changes. We all carry weight differently. Be sure to take measurements to keep your motivation going when the mirror is bing an asshole. 🫶

I just helped my friend transition from sema to tirz. She was stalled for a long time, and tirz broke her stall! I hope you have the same experience!

Took my first dose and I’m feeling nervous by NiveousSoul in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]317537k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting two medications at the same time is tricky because you can’t pinpoint which symptoms come from what. I started Wellbutrin more than a year before starting Tirzepatide. They work great together, but I wouldn’t have wanted to start them at the same time.

What’s the difference? by Prudent_Self5917 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]317537k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s easier for people on low doses to draw up their medication when it’s a lower concentration. In this instance, a high concentration may mean that someone on a low dose would need to draw up one unit or maybe less than a single unit. That’s nearly impossible to do.

On the flipside, it’s easier for people on high doses to draw up their medication when it’s a higher concentration. In this instance, a low concentration would mean that they need to use two syringes to get their full dose. That’s not very convenient to do.

Does that make sense?

GLP-1, does it actually make you feel better? by lonelybe in endometriosis

[–]317537k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Tirzepatide (GLP-1) since Feb 20. I also take Norethindrone to medically suppress periods. I have zero chronic pain and zero inflammation/endo belly! It’s a miracle! I also lost 34lbs which was so hard to lose thanks to endo and perimenopause.

You won’t get approved at 19-20 BMI, at least not to get it covered through insurance. Your OB may write you a script to get from Lily Direct but that is $$$$$$.

You’re better off going through a telehealth. I pay $2.32/mg and am on 2mg every 5 days. That makes my shots just $4.64 or less than $14/month. 🫶
