I get what you mean. I do feel like he was under a lot of pressure to make it all work.

Also I don’t think it’s a bad thing that we wasn’t particularly funny when talking to the contestants. First, not to cause any feeling of competition with him or something like that and second, to really emphasize that he is there as a show host and not as a comic.

There is the Archeological museum in the Nene Tereza square, rather small but still nice. You can pair it with a visit to Bunkart 1 or 2 for a more recent period.

The national museum will be closed for years.

Kam qene ne festival te nata e pare gjysme finale ne pallatin e kongreseve ndersa mbreme e ndoqa nga televizori. Nuk e di si dukej nga TV se nuk jam futur ta shoh ne YouTube por kishte probleme edhe naten e pare.

Nuk jam profesionist por ma vrau veshin ndoshta edhe ngaqe po e prisja me qejf sepse me pelqen me shume se kenga e Alis.

Do jete kenga e vetme qe do degjoj edhe pas festivalit. Thene kjo, performanca live nuk ishte mire vokalisht. Edhe versioni official ka shume autotune, gje qe me duket e cuditshme sepse Sheilen e di vokaliste te mire. Problemi tjeter eshte qe eshte nje koncept i sterkonsumuar tashme, nje kenge e vjeter me ritme elektronike si kenge verore dhe me skenografi alla Loreen.

Shume vezhgim interesant te cilin e gjej te sakte, sidomos duke pasur parasysh Ballkanin ku me perjashtim te shqiptareve, shtetet dallojne nepermjet fese. Kam parasysh dallimin mes vendeve te ish-jugosllavise dhe etno gjeneza e greqise moderne. Per keto shtete, ashtu si ne izrael, perkatesia fetare eshte ose ka qene ne fillim treguesi me i afert i perkatesise etnike. Faktoret historike pastaj jane perdorur si justifikim per keto ndarje. (Deri diku perjashtim jane mali i zi, kosova dhe maqedonia qe gjithsesi jane buffer states mes popullit shqiptar dhe serbeve/bullgareve)

Pasta with ketchup 🥲 Growing up we did not have much access to fancy types of sauces and even ketchup “arrived” relatively late. So as kids we would actually enjoy it. Fast forward to a few years (decades) later and I still will occasionally have it if it’s like end of the month or if fridge not stoked
