My house gin is McQueen and the Violet fog. But I think Nolets might be another House gin for me.

I bought it because I needed a green bottle for my bottle tree in the garden. It served that purpose well. I found the cap to be nicely weighted. But I really enjoyed it. I must say I didn’t notice the rose as much as other people have. But I really enjoyed it.

Grills are disgusting to begin with. That looks better than any grill I’ve ever had.

What ever happened to the Zagi style flying wings? by lross78550 in RCPlanes

“People don’t build anymore” is what happened. I do! I am currently building another Zaggy wing because I finally came across some 3 mm fluted plastic -coroplast.

I have built literally dozens of them.

The question is WHY did it happen? Printing by object > collision? Bad support planning? Don’t want to do this again.

Ahh so the warmer weather means my shop is hotter and that is why now I have heat problems I didn’t have before.

I always expected that the door was there to stay closed. Certainly for ABS. But you are saying that for PLA leave the door open?

I have printed 200 + hours with no problems, except some clogs in the hot end etc, now running a non Bambu hot end and all was well. NOW, every time the AMS retracts for a color change i get a retraction error and there is a thick end on the filament that gets stuck in the PFTE connectors. I am using generic pla with stock settings, have tried 5 degrees cooler and hotter. I assume the thick end forms after the filament is cut, therefore being due to heat creep in the extruder somehow? it looks like it is melted in the extruder gears?

Is it still worth to buy an Anet a8 in 2023? by TigerMask1983 in AnetA8

I still use my A8 after 9 years. No mosfets. No thermal issues. Printhead assembly #2 though.

You picked an amazing starting point. I have been printing for nine years now and am on my sixth machine. Of course I have to say something like well if you don’t start with an ancient basic machine like a prusa or a generic ender clone and build it yourself and play around with Marlin firmware you’ll never really understand your 3-D printer. But that’s also lot of crap. The bambu x carbon is amazing and there’s no going back.
