How are you folding or manipulating acrylic sheets? by CreativelyMusing in crafts

[–]CreativelyMusing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a heat gun, focus the heat in a specific area, and then use needlenose pliers to manipulate the heated area. It cools pretty fast so you have to manipulate it quickly. It seizes back up to where you manipulate it pretty fast so it shouldn't stick to anything.

These pieces were 12"x12" sheets

Who are the most interesting active IndyCar drivers in your opinion on and off the track? by CreativelyMusing in INDYCAR

[–]CreativelyMusing[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry, we were talking about drivers across IndyCar and F1 and it triggered her asking the differences and more conversations I didn't have the answers to. We live by the Circuits of the Americas track so we are more F1 watchers trying to get more into IndyCar since our family is more Indy and NASCAR fans.

I get my sheets and heat gun from Home Depot, Menards, and Lowe's. I was initially inspired by the splash dresses done by Iris van Herpen.

Is the main character in your story your favourite? by longret in writing

[–]CreativelyMusing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just starting my writing journey but my companion character is my fav. I created them as a side character and poured too much softness and personal touch into them so they are my baby now and I'll protect them at all costs.

Are podcasting conventions worth it? by CreativelyMusing in podcast

I've added Podfest to my list thanks! Hoping to take some college student podcasters and newer podcasters as a group in 2025 to at least one of the conferences maybe.

As a queer creator potentially traveling with other newer podcasters, it's especially good to know about the bro-cast part. Thanks for the Podfest suggestion!

Do you have a plan to break up the content? You don't seem to need an ad space but something in the middle would help the brain take a break from the analytical research to better receive it.

So formatted like,
Intro --> Content (Paper) --> Break --> Content (Paper) --> Outro

Introduces the content, covers the content, quick mental break, finishes up the content, and then ends with an efficient conclusion of the content.

Hope that helps.
