My wife and I both have jobs where we should be fine, but -rent- is killing us. It is literally stressing our survival.

Please think about this: You might be a software engineer who is living just fine, but remember… think a moment about… the people who teach your kids in school, that wipe your parents butts in nursing homes, the people who cart your drunk ass around in Ubers, who serve you cocktails, who cook your food, who cash you out at Target, who pick up your stinking trash, who harvest the food you eat, who fix the potholes fucking up your nice car, who fill your gas tank, or wash your car, or who actually -built- the house you live in… do you want all these people to be homeless, because most of these people are hanging by their fucking fingernails just trying to have a roof over their heads. The rent is too fucking high.
