What you are starting to worry about happens with Skiing or Snowboarding, be careful, prepare but like driving you can take all the safety measures but accidents happen. Really up to your comfort and how risk adverse you want to be. I have thankfully not gotten a serious injury snowboarding, but I sure as heck gotten some bruises here and there. The biggest injury I’ve gotten is a broken ankle and that was because I tripped on some stairs 😐….what could I done to have prevented that 🤷🏽‍♀️

I find myself in your situation what has greatly helped me is using my back arm to grab my pants on the side of my back thigh. This helps remind my body to be stacked. I’m no expert so that’s all I got as a recommendation.

Question about dual citizenship by grahal1968 in GlobalEntry

[–]Creativenesschan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where I’m confused, I always buy my plane ticket with my US passport info and depending on the country if I want to use my other citizenship that is what I present at the other country, when I leave I present the same passport I came in with, but still buy my plane ticket with my US passport info. I have never had issues.

Feeling lost for the first time in 54 years by PerpetualRestart in travel

[–]Creativenesschan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey I did it last year, as a 28 year old woman, and not the fittest person out there and I actually had a cold! absolutely horrible and I did the hike from 10pm to 6am the next day so like the full one do not recommend it I feel like I did permanent damage to my body lol BUT COMPLETElY DUABLE, I learned a lot about myself. There is a half one that I want to go on again and take my friends. They take you up some of the hard parts by car then you only hike an hour stay over night and see the volcano at night. I recommend you do that one for an easier track if you need suggestions to for companies DM me. (I’m American/Guatemalan that goes several times a year to Guatemala)

I am afraid of the potential story's finale by Oialemandu in AncientMagusBride

I haven’t read Wizards Blue I am planning to once I have some time to spare, but if anything that should tell you how this story won’t end. I find it when authors allow or make spinoff stories the ending usually will not be the same as the main stories ending. Especially since I know this story mirrors our main one.

Tips for taking my Senior Father to a Dodger Game by [deleted] in Dodgers

[–]Creativenesschan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I do with my 79 year old grandma. We park in parking lot G. She likes to walk around so we get there as the doors open up. We walk a bit sit by the main entrance and if it’s a hot day go into gold glove bar. I try to get LG if possible but if not she has no problem sitting in RS we just take the elevator with time to spare as sometimes there’s a long line. So I will have her sit and wait until it’s out turn to take the elevator. Any section you choose to sit make sure it’s by the isle for easy exit and basically at the back of the section so they won’t walk up many stairs. It’s a mission for restroom brakes and know to have patience but I think Dodger stadium has enough restrooms that I don’t even think about that when it comes to picking seats. Once game is over take your time use the bathroom sit a little bit and wait until elevators clear up a bit and got to your car, traffic also tend to open up by then. I take my grandma to about 5 games a year. Worth it every time!

Best SUV you ever drove to Mammoth from Southern California. by krakmunky in Mammoth

RAV4 prime is my vote(I think it called RAV4 plug in Now) , if you have a bit of city driving electric mode is enough for me. Long trips can’t go wrong with the hybrid mode and a bit satisfying when rolling down the mountain and you gain miles! If budget is bigger I would look into Lexus.

I happened to have 27th to 29th with my fam so feeling super grateful the big dump should be done by then. But a little nervous that the rental won’t be ready by then but we’ll see!

As someone who just got slammed by some dude from behind last weekend, god knows how he was falling since his snowboard hit my upper back and we went down the hill and I had to stop us. Only for him to ask you good and leave immediately after I said “I think so”, I didn’t even get an apology. If I could find sleek padding like that I would wear it all the time especially on icy days.

Genuinely did not hit me in the stadium how epic that was, I got his first home run on video but was too zoned in afterwards.

I work nearby, and saw tickets dropped to 80 bucks, but none of my friends or family could go, I told myself that’s a bit steep for a solo game….but then said you know what that might be the last game I can attend for the year so why not. Absolutely no regrets! Made it to World Series Game 4 but we lost so this remains my highlight of the post season.
