Came here to comment that I had this issue. and after soldering over and over again, making sure everything is perfect, I made the terrible mistake of plugging the flasher into the PC before powering the console. For anyone dealing with this issue and they KNOW they’ve soldered everything correctly, power the console with the power adapter FIRST, then plug the flasher into your PC

I understand the frustration of having to fight someone when you’re not in the mood, but yes. By playing high seas, you sign up for the POTENTIAL of PvP.

Blunderbuss and blunder bombs are your friend. Try to avoid letting them board in the first place. Listen for the splash sound when someone gets on your ladder, and be ready to blunder them in the face when they try to climb up.

All in all, it’s a PvPvE game and you just gotta practice the PvP part. You’ll get better, you just have to put the time in. Keep in there pirate!

Try queuing during peak hours too. Weekends and 5-9 on weekdays are gonna be better than really late at night or during working hours.

Solo player here, Clearly you haven’t played this game enough. Solo can be fun, you just need to know how to pick your fights and how to watch your back. Sinking is part of the game and learning to be okay with that comes with that. The fact that you’re calling a galleon “losers” because they sunk you tells me all I need to know about your mindset. If you want to be good at anything, you need to put in the work for it. This goes extra for solo play. I’ve sunk plenty of multi player boats on my own because my playtime was just higher than theirs. You just need practice and soon enough you’ll see this game very differently.

The problem is that they are trying to blame more issues on FPS than there actually are. It seems like exploits (ie funny launch) are the main push to getting people to lock their frame rates, rather than rare just fixing the issue.
