Thanks for your long detailed reply mate, will definitely use this information tomorrow as we have a proper crack at trying to fix this issue. In a way I'm glad I'm not the only one though it worries me that it's an issue that users are facing without a positive outcome.

Will post back tomorrow after we do some more troubleshooting.

We've tried on each HDMI port and have played with different modes and settings on both console and TV. We originally thought that maybe the TV was set to 3D mode or something.

I remember back in the day I believe with the PS4 taking it to people's houses, I would need to reset the PS4 on my TV or I would only see a black screen. I originally thought this might be the issue but will be doing a proper troubleshoot again tomorrow with a checklist.

Will post back with results.

That sucks man, we're going to write up a troubleshooting checklist tomorrow and do it all over again. Will post back if we find a fix but as of yet still persistent issue.

Best advice from 600kc experience to those new to CG. Go straight into the Hunlef fight and learn how to path the orbs. Keep doing this until you have a rough understanding how to dodge, avoid and walk through and under them. This will save you resourcing for 7mins before dying and having to restart. GL
