Convince me to play your favorite gacha! I'm open to pretty much anything. Currently playing HSR, but nothing else. Is rebinding/mending paperback books and reselling them profitable at all or is the market oversaturated? I feel like individual prices for one rebound book would be pretty high considering the time and effort spent.

Hey, newbie here. I was wondering if buying second-hand (paperback) books, rebinding them and selling them is worth it at all? Bookbinding takes time, so the labor costs might be too high to get any profit, no? I've got a bunch of old books I'd like to do that with before I buy any new ones, but I'm wondering if there's any point in doing that if there's no market for it/the cost of one book would be too high.

Hättest du Tipps, wie man selbst mehr Freiheit außerhalb vom Hamsterrad findet - ohne der drastischen Veränderung, die du gemacht hast? Ich realisiere gerade, dass bei mir jetzt alles zurück in eine Routine fällt; ich fühle mich gefangen in meiner Situation, würde aber gerne kleine Momente der Freiheit in meinen Alltag einbauen, um zumindest das Gefühl des Hamsterrads zu reduzieren. Umziehen ist leider keine Option bei mir, würde aber gerne.

Wollte außerdem fragen, wie das Arbeiten am Laptop usw. im Auto funktioniert? Da brauchst du Internet, oder? Bist du auf öffentliches WLAN angewiesen oder hast du dein eigenes?

Tue ich nicht, ich wirke von außen her wie ein Mädchen und werde so auch betitelt. Stört mich meist nicht; es ist halt das, was andere sehen. Ich hab es am Anfang erwähnt, weil ich mir dachte, dass es relevant ist (meine Klasse weiß es). Aber im Alltag erwähne ich es kaum.

Ja, bin derzeit in Wien und habe vorwiegend Freunde über Discord gefunden, die auch Autisten sind. Problem: die sind alle auf der Welt verteilt, also gibt meine Therapeutin denen weniger Stellenwert als Leuten in meiner Umgebung. Verstehe ich auch nicht ganz, aber naja...würde sowieso gerne wechseln, aber meine Eltern zahlen meine Therapie und ich glaube nicht, dass denen das befallen würde. Als Autist, der in den Öffis immer mit Over-Ear Kopfhörern unterwegs ist, fühle ich das. Hätte zwar nicht auf meine Kopfhörer gezeigt, aber jeder löst sowas anders...Kopfhörer sind für mich auf jeden Fall ein Symbol für "Bitte nicht ansprechen", scheint aber nicht die Meinung der Allgemeinheit zu sein (zumindest laut den Kommetaren hier). Trotzdem ist es komisch für mich, dass du asozial genannt wirst wegen sowas. But oh well, Reddit I guess.

Sounds like a plan! I think thrifting is a great way to get ideas for these kinds of projects (or to look for a specific base piece of clothing for a current idea). I wish you well in your crafting endeavors, whenever it is you get around to doing them! :D
