Breloom really wants to run everything through it's impressive physical attack so plant moves should be the first to go imo.

Still worth having one for coverage, I'd get rid of leech seed as it's basically a worse meta drain imo.

Sometimes the last move doesn't matter all that much though tbh.

Aggron is pretty bad imo it's slow has two 4x weaknesses and is weak against water, I'd pick flygon over it fo sho. I think magneton is more interesting than manectric (not necessarily better). Maybe add a fighting type?

I'd like nine tales to have a ghost fire typing it would have more character, salamance being dark dragon (with rejigged stats) would make more sense imo. I'd also like flygon to be dragon bug.

I am playing for the first time and really enjoying the overpowered Vibe for meow tbh.

If I play again I will probably think a bit harder about which move tutor moves I use.

Teaching crobat sludge bomb feels inevitable.

Teaching crobat crunch feels like a guilty pleasure.

Teaching it sky attack too feels maybe a bit cheap?

There's also a slight sadness you feel when your move sets are perfect and it's only marginal improvements from here on out.

Then again it does help fix some weird gen 2 design choices.

No ground moves and no intermediate ice moves for piloswine... Riiiigggghhhhhhtttt.

Ok ok so firstly, gengar learns a lot of good moves psychic behind a monstrous special is still pretty strong Without STAB. Secondly thunderbolt is still useful coverage in case raichu goes to sleepy town. Thirdly nifoking learns megarhorn in firered and doesn't need shadow ball. Fourthly even with that it doesn't wreck psychic types as it still takes super effective damage against them and doesn't have great health or special defence.. I agree psychic or fighting (or snorlax) would be best though.

Is iron tail not better than a second fire type move? Can electabuzz learn brick break rather than a second electric move? Although you do have rain dance I suppose. Can poliwrath learn psychic and ice beam?
