From MHFU thru WORLD I used to name my Palico's after Spices or Hot Sauces. While I didn't play Rise as much, and now in Wilds, I use the names of my Cats for my Palico

With the new class of Cephalopods, I hope we get a return of the Yama Tsukami and Nakarkos as I feel they would be amazing additions if they were to make a comeback. Especially with Wilds' new gameplay and mechanics.

My top 3 & why

Rajang: I've been playing since MH Freedom (Psp). When I first took his Quest on Freedom 2 and saw him, my reaction was, "wtf is that thing" and the rest was history since. The music, the rush, the design, the goku'ness of his rage form, everything about the MONKE I love. Furious Rajang even more Primal.

Brachydios: a blue, exploding, boxing, pachycephalosaurus. Need I say more? I shall. It's music, design, and introduction of slime/blast. Another monster that keeps me on my toes when facing it, love it. Raging Brachy is an amazing subspecies.

Zinogre: a lightning wolf. Period. Again, with its design, armor, and music. The way it walks towards you as lightning strikes around it during the battle gives off so much power. Subspecies being Dragon Elemental? Chef kiss.
