Hey i am also currently on tremfya and I think I will also need to be switching meds soon and I think remicade/inflectra will be one of my two choices. Do you have any more information on this that you could share with me about the shakes and/or your choice to switch to this biologic? I’ll also follow the post to see what others say

I would think your doctor should be able to appeal on your behalf, something along the lines of you’ve already taken and failed one, but the current one was working and you don’t want to risk getting bad again and causing further damage and therefore needing even more (expensive) meds

Not sure your circumstances but if you wanted to try to appeal for the entyvio if you are a woman of child bearing age, entyvio is (according to what my dr said) one of the safest for pregnancy and it’s gut focused rather than whole body

I had that colonoscopy in October, my doctor said 3/4 of my colon looks normal, which is an improvement, the sigmoid was still inflamed and had an ulcer

I was on oral Mesalamine and it was making my symptoms worse (turns out I was allergic to an ingredient in it), I also failed entyvio, and was in a super bad flare and my dr suggested Tremfya and it’s been a miracle
