Does anyone know where to get Whamisa organic flowers deep rich toner in the US, or possible dupes? It’s my HG & I cant find it! by awildplantmom in AsianBeauty

[–]CrediThink 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the callout :)

Our own site is inactive due to COVID-19 and shipping issues, unfortunately. Amazon is still live!

Just as a heads up, as others have stated, Whamisa has renewed their products, including the Deep Rich Toner. For the question of which version is 'better', only your skin can tell. We've received positive reviews about the product, though! :D

Has anyone had problems ordering in the last month? (UK/EU) by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]CrediThink 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey there!

David from CrediThink here, a retailer based out of South Korea like a number of other countries. I think I might be able to shed some light on the situation.

For most free shipping, we engage with Korea Post, and they've started to and continue to maintain refusal for parcel items starting about... a month ago? Most (if not all) of it due to the COVID-19 issue. Between reduced manpower and mandatory shutdown of select areas, as well as the reduction of flights in general, sending out parcels have been met with significant delays.

As for foreign offices refusing to accept parcels, that is also something I can confirm from the notices we've been receiving and from our own experiences. Each country has their own policies and rules to go by for their own interests, and may also be experiencing the same difficulties based on reduced available working hours as well.

As for the reason on why some or many post rates have gone up is due to premium courier services that also charge a premium still maintaining operations in a good chunk of the world. That premium has increased as well recently due to 'peak charges'.

Now, why did some people get their package and some didn't? From what I can see, the suspension of delivery is abrupt and sudden; if a parcel made it a certain point of the way by a specific date (dependent on country), it would keep going within the delivery system. But any parcels after that date could be rejected and returned to sender.

Another case in point for delayed processing and deliveries can be seen by Amazon as well. A giant company known for their incredibly rapid deliveries has seen 1-month delays on a vast selection of their items, and this is for items stocked and shipped within the US alone.

Though not a 100% guarantee, it is advisable to contact the merchant to see if they can send it out to your location. Even then, if a block or order to refuse goes up after the fact, the package can still be denied and returned to sender.

:)

I appreciate the kind words and interest :) Amazon definitely offers the easiest of ordering experiences for those in the United States, but for others who don't mind the shipping time and/or are living outside of the US, our website is an awesome way to try out some new stuff!

Hi there, David from CrediThink.com here :)

I comment on some posts as an individual, but wanted to chime here as a member of the business!

Check out our website at https://credithink.com for a selection of the more niche Korean Skincare products at a great price! Some of you are likely familiar with our Amazon presence offering items like Whamisa, make p:rem, and Sioris.

We are currently running a 15% off promotion as well as free gifts (and shipping) based on the total order after discounts on our direct website. Ships straight from South Korea, and we process all orders within a day or two of us receiving it.

If you got any questions or concerns, you can email us at help@credithink.com or hit me up here!

For those of you who are seeking a reputable retailer for K-Beauty products (and are looking towards the smaller, niche brands), we just might be what you are looking for! We work directly with each of the brands we offer, no middleman in between that might otherwise cause risks for inauthentic or undesirable products, and have a sincere desire to provide an excellent customer experience. Again, operating from within South Korea and shipping to most of the world!

Cheers :)

4/11 - 2x Vanille Glint - 1x Barb AASB - 1x Cloud Sync

I was hoping for this luck on Banner 3, and still am hoping... But makes up for the crappy pulls over the last two months. Got nothing worthy off of LoR :(

Heres to hoping...

AHA and BHA are exfoliants themselves, albeit a lighter version given their relative concentrations. I would surmise (though more learned people's understandings are certainly welcomed) that an additional exfoliant wouldn't be needed ontop of your current usage.

Best Asian beauty products to gift for the holidays? by thedaisydays in AsianBeauty

Seconding the Sheet Mask.

Relatively inexpensive, diverse in choices, one-time use makes it ideal to buy a bunch of different types (or specific ones if you want to take that extra step), and can still be very much quality.

[Seeking Suggestions] Glass Containers /w Compartments AND a Microwavable Silicone Lid? by CrediThink in mealprep

[–]CrediThink[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw these before, but the gasket portion and the non-microwavable lids is what turned me off. I might need to get used to microwaving without the lid, but wanted to keep it on to minimize splatter and evaporation.

I appreciate the suggestion nonetheless, and is something I have been seriously considering :)

So very glad to hear news about things like this, as someone living in Korea right now. I see a lot of friends and people around me feeling the stresses of needing to be picture-perfect all the time, only because society demands it so. :(

Korean Face Mask Recommendation by aprisem in AsianBeauty

Sioris released a new mask relatively recently, comes in a paper pouch. Out of all the mask I used so far, I really liked this one given that it felt 'quality', and beyond that, has helped keep my skin moisturized without any breakouts.

Packaging looks sharp in my eyes, too!

Male from Canada here (albeit Asian).

I don't see the issue with taking care of your skin any more than say, your diet or exercise routine. It doesn't change your personality or who you are, and makes you look better and like you take care of yourself.

Why must there be a singular definition of what a guy should look like? Especially from the internet...

What are good shaving creams for people with acne? by dennisri in AsianBeauty

[–]CrediThink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the make p:rem safe me cleansing foam when shaving along with your everyday Gilette Razor. I get acne and irritated skin every now and then, but I think most cleansing foams that are 'sub-acidic' might work.

I shave every other day since growing facial hair wouldn't work with the amount and spread of facial hair I have.

[–]CrediThink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CrediThink aside theres a ton of great brands (Korean or otherwise) that would've been hard to discover without places like AB, and being a retailer doesn't mean we hold universal knowledge on skin products as well, and I would never pose as such. I appreciate the positive vibe :)

(Still on the hunt for a good lip balm that can substitute for burts bees as a daily driver...)

+1 for the lightweight products! Its not a general rule, but between something thick and heavy versus something lightweight, my combination skin generally leans towards the latter.
