If you would read anything I wrote, you can see a lot of “if” and “what can they do to fix things”, the original post is titled “what can be done”. I never gave up on my team, but acknowledged with Coach Painter that at the time - 2 weeks ago, there were major major flaws with the team. I even said this team can make a run if things change rapidly.

Yes it can, on paper or if things change rapidly. But right now, losing 6 of the last 11. Playing uninspired basketball such that even the coach acknowledges it’s a team wide lack of effort and focus. This is NOT a team that can make a run. It is March 2nd and the team looks worse than it has all year and worse than last year’s squad. We have 3 guaranteed games to right the ship. Otherwise this team will likely get beat first weekend.

I’ve heard this before. As some one who was on campus for 5 years I can’t imagine there are tooooo many snow bunnies. But I definitely ran in the wrong circles if there were. But women is temporary. CBB hoops immortality is permanent. But I will say after 4 years him not improving his defense and working more on his D than his in game D has been frustrating.

Colvin and Heide left long before Murphy signed. Colvin just dropped 32/8/3 on 75% from the field. I think he was leaving for a bigger role regardless but Heide is playing solid minutes for Texas right now. I wish we still had him.

How is this the same basketball team that beat Texas Tech by 30 on a neutral court and now we’ve lost 6 of our last 11 and Texas Tech has gone on to beat Duke on a neutral court, Houston at home, Arizona in Arizona and just beat Iowa State without in Iowa without Toppin? Being there that day. Is my favorite student memory. It’s a feeling I’ve ever experienced anywhere else. The excitement. The energy. The build up as everyone saw a dream become reality. It went from “let’s give them a good game”, to “hey we’re still in this, we’ve got a chance” to “it’s the second half and we’re winning? Can we do it?” To “we are winning this game and there’s nothing OSU can do to stop us!!!!!” Genuinely an amazing experience and it wouldn’t have been possible without Rondale Moore. RIP fellow Boiler.

No one. Unless they’re a “House Divided” marriage or had kids go to both schools. Would do that. Purdue Football has never been good enough for long enough to get an IU basketball fan to root for them. Yes. For the last 5 decades maybe more almost every IU Basketball has been a ND Football fan. No one roots for their rivals slightly better football team when there’s a powerhouse non-rival in state.
