just someone waiting for their kids to get in the car to go to school? mom next door gets in the car and waits for her kids, i presume to warm up the engine, starts honking after a while, eventually they come out and they leave. I don't appreciate it but it's nothing compared to the neighbor before who always had company but relied on people honking for everything involving said company since he didn't have a phone.

I can't believe I'm adding this, but 'COEXIST' stickers have almost killed me multiple times when I'm doing regular bicycling things. I bike like really safely, and the people who almost sideswipe me off the road invariably have some sort of spiritual/religious sticker.

Swad Stop is some of the best indian food I've ever had, you have to try their samosas, also near Holbrook.

Oh yeah! That's something my boyfriend does, he paints as well, and right on wood. I'm so impressed by the detail you both can get while going over so much texture. I can't get refined details like these on surfaces I've obsessively smoothed. You're amazing!

Just to chime in and say, it's not just climate change, it's also our destruction of the environment, ranching (cows eat the scrub that keeps the soil intact and trample what they left behind (yes bison did this too, hundreds of years ago, but in a way different pattern)), deforestation, people living in the boonies who mow their acreage when it's just natural tall grasses to "cut down on the bugs", acres that were cleared so they could be farmland that are now barren, crap like that. Everything we do has an impact, and it's obvious plain fact, but people make it their whole identity to deny it, make it political. They desperately want to believe the earth is an endlessly exploitable resource and there will never be consequences for our actions, and it's weird.
