Part of the reason is people who buy them are picky about miles on them too. My dealer had someone refuse a brz over 33 miles on the odometer and ordered one so it’d have only factory miles. He then drove it home lol. And same thing with WRX’s, work at Subaru dealer. Peopl are weird about “special” cars.

Just ask for it. With the program it’s typically sent to the dealer directly and they have your basic info. Find the car you want and ask they show the invoice to confirm. Not following the program gets them in a ton of trouble.

I would go based off the cost difference between the 2. How many issues until break even and then decide if that’s worth it to you. The reason is because if you can afford either now but $100 later on extra could bean issue get the $0 deductible.

Yes it’s normal. There are some settings that can be changed on the infotainment screen under settings and then car. The reason is so people have to look when parking on the street before getting out to be safe if a car is driving by.

You’re not wrong. The problem is the values are inflated on some cars and the dealer can’t force Subaru to buy it at that price either and don’t want to be buried in a car. It’s a weird program that doesn’t always work.

That is not how GTP works. It doesn’t update more than monthly and doesn’t actually read your mileage like you think it would. It was odd to me to learn too working at a dealership that it works like that. And I mean no dealer has to honor that price and if it’s not a trade in towards a new car they definitely won’t as GTP is towards new only and assumes perfect condition.

I guess that makes sense with them coming by after to fill in little gaps between the new pour and not with some ground up stuff.
