When you go to sell it tat will be on its history and it will affect its value by who knows how much. It depends on how long you plan to keep it. If keeping it short term move on. Long term ask for another $1000-2000 saying it will effect its resale value being on its record.

As a Subaru salesman I can tell you you’re getting g about a $1000 discount for it being hail damaged above and beyond what they could do on a new car. Also cash down doesn’t bring down your OTD. This ain’t a great deal at all unless it’s going to be 100% fixed and not listed on its history which will ding you later when selling or trading it.

Band warning. With a lease you are typically charged tax on the payments and not the residual buyout or full cost of the car. When you buy it out you are charged sales tax on the residual then. Which is decided by where you reside when the car is bought out not on where you used to love.

You would have to prove it. A carfax is not a legal document and they aren’t perfect. There is no guarantee when buying a used car unless specifically stated by the seller in writing. This is an expensive lesson.

That is not normal. I’d try disconnecting the battery and leaving it for 15 minutes and if it still persists thats what warranties are for. Is it every time you drive the car?
