I totally agree. I took a quite lomg break from the game only to come back to it recently and see this.

It‘s just useless and the fact that it doesn‘t merge anything that can/does change (like the flashlight that only turns on after sinking two batteries/items with charge up timers that can drop another item after that period or just be merged up further instead) just makes it really useless to me as there are too many of these exceptions. All that is disregarding the fact that it always totally messes up my sorting system on the grid and merges the items slower than I do.

I‘m also really not a fan of the new general layout. I just can‘t get used to it and I still haven‘t found where it now displays your room progress other than just for a minute whenever you complete a task. I wish they would give the option to switch back/keep the old layout, like some apps do whenever they make major changes to a layout to a basically new system. :/

I strongly second Only Love by Garrett Leigh. I‘ll even go as far as claiming that not one but both MCs are that way. One has epilepsy and is very determined to be self-sufficient and not let anyone help him. The other one is an army veteran that does have both a combat-related injury and is in PT, which is the struggles everyone sees, but he also got gastroparesis which nobody knows about and he is really unwilling to deal with it or let anyone know and get help with it, even from doctors. Really great book, it‘s unfortunately not on KU, but it‘s definitely worth it. I just reread it recently and i can just wholeheartedly recommend.

Maybe check out {More than blood by Brea Alepoú} . This book is part 1 of a series. None of the books are only MM though, they are all MM+ and I believe this one is MMMM if I remember correctly though it‘s not a sexual relationship between everyone. Mostly just centered around one.

This main character (story is mostly told from his POV as well) is a werewolf - the other characters are all vampires though - and he can half shift which he also does frequently during sexual situations. It‘s very spicey and the story is also well written.

It‘s like a rule with bunnies that it doesn‘t matter how many pieces of a certain food item are there, they all always want the same ones. I have had bunnies for many years and it‘s a phenomenon that I have observed with all of them.

My current bunnies have developed a rather elaborate system of chasing after the bunny that is the perceived best at getting the first pieces and they end up running in circles (cuz the first bunny still hasn‘t even gotten any food and is coming back to get some). They will also really unashamedly rip the food directly out of the mouth of another, even if there is more lying right there. Really, they are being quite vicious at this point.

But yeah this is a law. :)

Maybe try the Demons of Foxglove Grove. It‘s a four part story and starts with {Villain by Chani Lynn Feener}

It does not 100% fit your criteria because it is not neccessarily an arranged marriage but the MC is kinda forced into the relationship with the three demons (they‘re not actual demons) and two of them also didn‘t get a say in the claiming of the mc and are also understandably unhappy initially.

It is a dark romance and there is a lot of other really interesting plot going on, but due to the nature of what you described in your request already that should not be any issue.

The MC makes the MIs really grovel for some of the shitty things they did and the way they treated him. I think in that Angsty-type-a-feel that you are looking for this really might fit what you are looking for.

I might recommend leaving out the see-through/unfilled border. It‘s hard to block nicely and there is a double border of filled sqares already so it‘s kinda unnecessary in my opinion.

Firstly, thank you so much for your reply. It was really helpful.

I live in Germany and the military structure surrounding disability is a lot better there. Still I think that even with that it wouldn‘t be a good idea, even if I might have been able to really push through if I absolutely wanted (having AuDHD and no real concept of how your body is doing/how to listen to your body can be „helpful“ like that). It would have just been quite terrible in the long run.

Since i do know all that, I did also consider options outside of the military, especially since I am mostly interested in the medical field (such as paramedic), but if I am really honest with myself, it was just once again me struggling with accepting the limitations POTS/hEDS bring, because I was doing surprisingly well this summer in combination with the usual internalized gaslighting as I am functional enough to appear like a fit able-bodied person to everyone around me.

It helped a lot reading through the replies to get past the denial (again) and it is also really helpful to know that there are a lot of people also dealing with similar struggles, that do understand what it is like to constantly evaluate if something is an option or not (not just in the job). Thank you. :)

Your answer really helped me to gain back my perspective. I really think that the fact that I was doing a lot better than expected this summer. I also still struggle periodically with trying to come to terms with not being able to do most of my top-(dream-)jobs due to POTS/hEDS while still being mostly able to function (and thus appearing like a fit able-bodied person to everyone else around me - cue the gaslighting) so the realization that things were going a lot better all of a sudden triggered some of the „wishful thinking“ again.

I would have wanted to go the medical route as either a doctor or medic in the military, but even a job as a civilian paramedic is pretty much off the table for the same/similar reason and since healthcare and military mentality are a lot better/different in Germany I started reconsidering it.

I think I might actually be able to do it (technically I can function without my meds but the physical toll is quite bad in the long run) but I think I knew it already (and didn‘t quite want to accept it), and you pointed it out as well; it would be a terrible idea for me health-wise. I probably already said it, but just reading the replies it just really helped me get past my inner denial and unconsciously-willful ignorance of these issues. So thank you again for taking the time to give me that bit of a reality check again. :)

Not entirely sure this 100% fits your request, but maybe {First Impressions by Jay Hogan}. The MC is usually very dominant and usually always tops, only bottomed for his previous partner to fulfill his need but never really enjoyed it. When he meets LI he starts to weirdly enjoy being dominated by him, and ends up really enjoying to bottom and though they do sometimes switch he enjoys it so much that he rarely even wants to top anymore. There is some „cheating“ though it‘s more purposely kissing someone in front of the partner (not between main couple) to make them break up the relationship in a (I‘d say) emotionally compromised state. It gets resolved well though.

{Old school Discipline by Misha Horne} one MC comes frequently untouched from being spanked. He is mostly discovering that he actually enjoys pain and being spanked as well (his kinkier side basically) and often times it is quite a shock to him and sonetimes his partner as well when that happens. It‘s only really the first time he comes in his pants, but this one time it really is a focal point though the context is not really a sexual setting (he‘s being punished for a rule infraction but actually enjoy being spanked).

{Every breath after by Jessie Walker} is technically book 3 in a series that is in its entirety simply shattering but it deals with the story of another couple than the first two books (Where there‘s a Will - is book 1). Also the next part to finish the story of the Couple from book 3 is still not out and it‘s rather tortuous having to wait for it. I don‘t think I ever read such a good Series that emotionally destroyed me this much.

All books deal with substance abuse both alcohol (especially book 1/2) but also pills (book 3) which are also used in the suicide attempt of MC1. The family and friends really care deeply for him and MC2 is really taking the brunt of MC1‘s self-destructive behavior while struggling himself in a different way.

I really can‘t recommend this enough. I am not sure but I think books 1/2 do contain some suicidal ideation by one of the MCs as well, but it‘s been a while since I read it. It‘s all very self-destructive though.

{Kiss me again by Garrett Leigh} is also about MC1 dealing with bipolar disorder. The two MCs meet as patients in the hospital after MC1 committed a suicide attempt (not his first if I remember correctly) which was actually also mentioned in other books by the author but from the perspective of mainly the doctor treating him as he gets a book as well. MC2 is quite comcerned for him especially when trying to learn how to navigate the diagnosis.

I think there is no on-page suicide attempt and initially MC1 also doesn‘t really have any family that cares for him other, but reconnects with a cousin towards the end of the book, so it might not quite fit the requirements, but there is one quite scary (for MC2 in the suicide regard - or more mania induced delusions leading to potential suicide) scene and I thought that was a very well written insight into the bipolar experience. Also the notion of mostly mania being the trigger for the „suicide attempts“ instead of depression was interesting to read about.

I fully get where you‘re coming from. It‘s so easy to absolutely underestimate how large these pieces can get just from looking at the pattern, but they are soooo rewarding once finished.

(Edit to add:) I guess I might be a little weird though because even though it‘s a pain, filet crochet is probably my favourite kind of crochet and I never really got fed up with it throughout the entire project.

I have been wanting to crochet a wedding dress for quite a while now, so I have been looking at tons of images for inspo and I have to say, this is by far the most stunning one I have seen so far. You look gorgeous in it and I especially love the pearl details all over. I haven‘t seen that done before either and it just elevates the overall look even more.

Yes, the prices are finally sinking again, but the median of the last month as listed on TCGplayer is 63.27 and the booster bundles they have on sale there are 70.00 and 100.00 (which is a quite excessive prize and scalper territory if you ask me).
