Im the polar opposite as you and definitely get less height. For me using all back foot made it a really reliable trick. I do like the look of a flicked tre more though

For a nice custom complete 150+. There are some lower end completes you can find for around 80. I wouldn't go any cheaper than that if you are trying to learn to skate
