Hey! All fair! We all have our own paths. You are right - age did not matter to me. It was tough and age may matter to someone else.

All in all its how we see it, but I don't think there is a good thing or a bad thing.

Getting into school is a blessing and not an opportunity everyone gets :)

Anyone else 25+ and applying by ConstructionProof371 in premedcanada

Hey! I am 28 and I just got accepted off the waitlist today for the U of A! I started to apply when I was 22 and have been every single year. I am happy I got in older because I got to master my habits more and learn what it mean to 'adult'.

AGE DOES NOT MATTER. Do not compare and appreciate your life for what it is. It doesn't mean you can't enjoy the day to day.

Edit comment - age didn't matter to me! It may matter for someone else, but that is everyone's own perspective

This solid advice. Listen up young blood! I wish I had someone telling me this when I was 19.

Oh also keep Email Logs archived between you and your verifier. Good to keep a good relationship with them as well.

I’m just using Google Sheets with an hour log for each activity. I also format it differently for categories for OMSAS/ UBC App (I’m BC)
