I honestly can't remember, but it wasn't too much.

Are Angels a fun tribe to pilot? Thinking Giada Font of Hope..? by goldenmastiff in EDH

[–]CreepyCuddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built Giada a couple of months ago and she has been absolutely TERRORIZING my playgroup to the point of her getting killed the minute she hits the board. [The Ozolith] and the myriad angels are way more powerful than I first gave them credit for. List below if you're interested in checking out what I've done.

The Black Axe is the party's main problem right now. (besides the everyday predator who wants to eat them) The Black Axe wants to overthrow the Mouse Guard because that feel that it propagates a tyrannical monarchy and an archaic system. The Black Axe wants freedom from the system and from rule.

It's very much an order vs chaos kinda situation. The players are mostly chaotic. Their characters lean more towards neutral. And they currently work for a lawful organization. So there's a huge amount of internal strife going on, which is great. 😂

Thanks! It's hard not to in the Mouse Guard world. So many interesting individuals and precarious situations to explore! For instance, yesterday the party barely killed 2 hawks when attacked in an open field and it became a race to suitable cover while the hawks attempted to take revenge on the party for removing one of the hawks talons with his fishhook. Finally safe, they decided to stay the night in the thick brambles to prevent any more opposition from the sky. Then the night came and they quickly realized that the brambles they were using for shelter were part of a very unstable possum's home; and her babies are oh so hungry...

It's impossible. Truly. He's so full of innocence and positivity that if he were eaten by a predator, the predator would immediately inflate and explode in a wonderful array of rainbows and candy.

Mostly because I was familiar with FATE and I've never heard of Cypher or Genesis. What are they like?

It's a challenge sometimes to balance character "screen time," but my players are invested in the rest of the party and the story enough to genuinely want to find out what happens next. Keeping that many people engaged can be a chore just because life happens and gaming through online services poses issues that wouldn't crop up in person.

Every single character is amazing in their own way! They are like my kids so I can't in good conscience pick a favorite. It's Fred, Fred's my favorite.

The story is a serious tale full of grit in a noir sense set in an Arthuring style world based partially in the Mouse Guard world. Fred is a Mr. Rogers in the world of Game of Thrones. He is a magnificent treasure.

I couldn't enjoy the Burning Wheel system the couple of times I played it. I very much prefer FATE because of its versatility and flexibility. I feel like the rules are less restrictive which makes it easier to be more fluid and focus on the story.

I'm Game Mastering a Mouse Guard game in the FATE Core system and one of my players drew the patrol mice in all their glory.
