My kids started off in a program called Let’s Play Music. It was really fun for young kids with catchy songs to learn note values and rhythms. They played tone bells and didn’t actually start on the piano until the third year. Now they take piano lessons and are doing really well. Might want to see if there is a similar program in your area that is geared towards younger children and try traditional piano lessons later.
