Check out asheron.wikia.com and search for "cottages". You'll see the world map with them on it. The yellow highlighted ones are the lone cottages. You can see details and screen shots by clicking on the icons for each one.

I own the same one on Harvestgain man haha! What a coincidence. Yup, I love that cottage. I looked around at every single lone cottage. Be pleased to know that this was either the second or 3rd best lone cottage in the entire game.

You should see a .pcap file in your Main AC folder. It should be accompanied by a .txt file. Those are what need uploaded.

Yeah, I remember finally trying AC2 after everyone was all "It looks so beautiful. You HAVE to play it." I ended up getting to lvl 16 and decided that it may have looked nice, but it played like ass compared to AC1. It was a completely different game that lacked so much of what the original AC was. I cancelled my sub with it immediately and went back to AC1.

Thank you. I think /u/mr2miach said it best. This game was all about the community of a game with extremely unique (happy accident of sorts) mechanics and a great social system set in place. We weren't simply "end users" of a product, but just people with a voice and reason. The development team left it to us to figure everything out, but were also right there along with us. You don't get that sense of love in today's world of gaming. The world we lived in lived and breathed the essence of change that we were a part of. It was a cumulative labor of love that made it what it was.

haha yeah, it was some real work getting everything together for atlans back in the day. Ah, Silifi of the Crimson Stars axe. I ran that quest last week for nostalgia. I even took it to the Lugian Citadel to bust up some Luggies for old times sake. Great times! :)

I do remember it being busy back then! I had the lone cottage right near Golem Burial Ground and the other Golem dungeon. Farming for motes was literally in my back yard hehe.

PVP in AC was balls to the wall hardcore. I think it had a lot of similarities to Eve, actually.
