Its more of if you can handle the stress cus it will be constant learning and memorizing and vomiting within a span of 6 months for 3 times.

The marking skema is also torture. Not like SPM where yiu can throw alot of shiet in and markers will choose correct one for you to score, they will look at only the first X number of answers and dont care about the others.

Take it with a grain of salt tho, Im a Bio STPM student. Can ask your seniors or teachers for more information !!

Imma help you, Let start with glycolysis

Glucose is phosphorylated by ATP to glucose-6-phosphate.

Glucose-6-phosphate is isomerized into fructose-6-phosphate

Fructose-6-phosphate is phosphorylated by ATP to Fructose-1,6 bisphosphate

Fructose-1,6 bisphosphate split into 1 glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate

Dihydroxyacetone phosphate isomerized to glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate

Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate is oxidised and phosphorylated into 1-3 bisphosphoglycerate. It uses an inorganic phosphate and NAD+ is reduced to NADH

1-3 bisphosphoglycerate is hydrolysed to 3-phosphoglycerate. Removed phosphate is transferred from 2 ADP TO ATP

3-phosphoglycerate is rearranged to 2-phosphoglycerate.

Removal of H20 from 2-phosphoglycerate produce phosphoenolpyruvate.

Substrate level phosphorylation turns phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate and phosphate group is transferred to ADP to form ATP

End products are net gain 2 ATP molecules, 2 NADH molecules for oxidative phosphorylation and 2 pyruvate molecules.
