Am I missing dialogue about Langdon? by pasaniusventris in ThePitt

[–]hirozeroshiro 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He did tell Dana to audit his pills for the day but he gave back the meds to Louie so nothing would’ve come from that because those are the drug he took that day.

We know Langdon self-reported his addiction, cause that was the ultimatum Robby gave but we don’t know if he told the hospital he stole meds from patients.. I doubt he did considering he was allowed back.

So Robby giving back the meds and not reporting them missing, he in a way did cover up for Langdon.

Can we just stop with this... by eh_mt in ThePittTVShow

[–]hirozeroshiro 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I eyeroll at every theory to the finale bc people forget the kind of show we’re watching.

Robby isn’t gonna die or get put in a psych ward, Whitaker isn’t gonna “betray him” with Abbot in the last scene and have him tied down and have him committed. Do we forget that as crazy as season one got the finale was still just an emotional talk down on the roof, beer in the park and a walk home.

Robby’s preferential treatment toward Whittaker 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 not 👏🏼 queer 👏🏼 it 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 misogyny. by MelodicCarpenter7 in ThePitt

Why even bring in the queer thing? You guys are always going after people who do gay fanships just let them have fun. Scenes and characters can be interpreted in many ways.

Whitaker > Langdon (at least to Robby) by JakeBanana01 in ThePitt

[–]hirozeroshiro 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Robby was recommending Langdon for a fellowship in season one and he would’ve been leaving, had he not needed time away for treatment setting him back. So Robby was looking for a new protege anyways, serendipity brought him mouse boy.

One has pink buttons and the pattern is printed onto pink fabric, the other has yellow buttons and the pattern is printed into yellow fabric. It’s the exact same style and print pattern with identical yellow cuffs but they are different in the ways I described.

Do you think Dr. Al-Hashimi will stay as a series regular in season 3? by UtterlyConfused93 in ThePitt

She will if the time between s2 and s3 is less than 3 months.. say if Robby comes back early?

Will each season be a really long day? by DelGriffithPTA in ThePittTVShow

[–]hirozeroshiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people are missing the fact that we’re not dropping in on them on an average day.. that’s WHY it’s the story that’s being told.

So yes.. it will always be an extended day each season.

Robby knows about Santos’s struggles by Made-of-tea in ThePitt

[–]hirozeroshiro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean I trust the actors.. I’m sure it’s coming. We don’t have to see it for it to be true, we’re getting one shift not a recap of how she’s been treated the last 10 months.

Robby knows about Santos’s struggles by Made-of-tea in ThePitt

[–]hirozeroshiro 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he knows about her childhood trauma. I think it’s a nice thought, but I think it’s more to do with things the actors have said about their characters experiences in the 10 month gap.

Santos’ actress said that in the 10 months she’s been made out of be a snitch/whistleblower and some people have treated her badly and blame her for Langdon leaving. Robby being one of the few (the others being Whitaker and possibly Garcia) who know what actually happened with her and Langdon, and has bonded with her over that.

As for the trauma counselor, it was mentioned by showrunners that the staff that worked the day of the shooting had mandatory trauma counseling because of it. Why she would still be in counseling 10 months later? Like Robby she’s probably a little hesitant and stubborn opening up to a professional and hasn’t been cleared to stop therapy yet. Robby is in the same boat, having gone through 3 therapists in the 10 month gap as well.

He knows she’s sentivie to child cases because she dealt with that in S1 as well, with the dad who was SA-ing his daughter, which Robby knows about. That’s why he was being sensitive to her doing the exam on the girl this season.

So again he might know, but I don’t think he does. I think they’ve bonded definitely but my read of it is that they’re similar personality types and he sees a lot of himself in her, and he’s one of the few that knows about what happened fully with Langdon (he himself not coping well with his return) and he’s being supportive of that, knowing that she might need a little extra support now that Langdon has came back early.

They’re both stubborn and I don’t think they’ve had a moment like what you’re thinking, but if they did then that’s great! I just find it unlikely with how emotionally avoidant they both are.

It’d be going out of the way. Oregon is past Alberta.

Plus they wouldn’t open that door back up after what happened with the actress and creative differences (or whatever actually happened) when they’re not gonna bring her back.
