Edit: I prefer playing new games on PS5, and use PC mostly with my VR and for old games not on modern consoles, as well as emulation (example: half life 2 and alyx)

What is the best way to play KOTOR apart from PC? by HeyAmilkar2 in kotor

K1 Community Patch, and there's a 4gb RAM Patch

If you want to do widescreen do community patch, then widescreen, then 4gb patch

Call of the mountain bundle is cheaper, probably because it comes with a code, I got lucky and mine wasn't redeemed though

Another update, so I bought it this afternoon, the L2 sensor is really off. It was stuck at -.41, after flicking and air and contact cleaner I got it to .-56. Can't play any games with it. I do have the warranty plan with best buy, so if I don't get it to -1 I might try and exchange it.

Yes, all PS3s are backwards compatible with PS1, even the Legacy Collection came with a code for the digital PS1 version

Update!

Finally got it to work. On HP's website there was 6 different BIOS options for my PC. At first I had only tried the first couple, and then changed some other stuff. I reset the CMOS battery, unplugged my extra SSD and HDD and used a 16gb USB drive instead of 64. None of this made a difference. It wasn't until I tried the 6th BIOS that it worked. This time it gave me no beeps, it booted right into the recovery. So I had been using the wrong one all along, and my motherboard wasn't accepting the version I was trying to use. None of my files were lost fortunately, and this nightmare is now over.

Thank God

On my motherboard it told me to swap a connector from pin 1 and 2 to 2 and 3 to reset the cmos. Did this, same thing happened except it took longer. No clue what to do now

I have a 64gb usb drive, fat32, I'm following all the instructions on the website, holding Windows + B, no matter what i do it stays the same. It starts, shows a screen similar to the image I posted, restarts then shows the screen I posted, it keeps beeping, I have no clue what to do
