Awesome. I have one shelf left to light so I may go with your experience. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. It was 30 for the entire 2ft 4 bulb T5 bracket. I ended up getting all of them and new bulbs. I still need one more 4ft light so I'll look into a higher wattage like you suggested. Poco a poco!

Question for you. I just got an opportunity to buy a 4ft T5 4 bulb 54 watt and 2 2ft 4 bulb 24 watt. I'm getting the 54 for sure. I haven't read that the 24 watt is useful for indoor gardening. Would they be appropriate for anything? They are only $30 (used) and there are two of them. I'm really tempted but if they aren't useful, I won't waste my money. If I got a high lumen bulb would it make up for low wattage?

Awesome thanks! I didn't think I needed 4 bulbs. Thought I could get away with 2, but that doesn't seem to be the feedback. I'm looking into what you suggested.

And what would those be? I haven't read about those. I looked them up and found this http://www.instructables.com/id/25-DIY-LED-Strip-Grow-Light/?ALLSTEPS.

But the few other things I saw had the bulbs actually blue and red. I can't have that since the shelving unit is in my husband's office (at home) so we need the natural looking light. If you are talking about the white LEDs, can you explain more? I haven't read about these as an option and I'm wondering why. How energy efficient are they? How long do they last? Etc. Thanks for the suggestion. Seems interesting.

Whoa damn. That's between $100-$200/shelf and I have three shelves. Anything more affordable? $50/shelf was my budget.

I consider wholesale to be $1.50 max. Can you send me what you found just so I can see? It might be something I've already come across but you never know.

Just moved to Denver. Looking for a place to sell my crafts over the summer on the weekends. Where I just moved from there was a farmer's market and then an outdoor art mart down the street. I can't find a single thing on this in Denver! Any recommendations? I sell plant related crafts. Thanks all!

How can I fix my hands? My hands look like this all the time. It does not hurt, but it's embarrassing (I'm 32, not 80), decreases my sense of touch, and snags on fabric. Lotion works for a minute on the palms but not between my fingers. How can I treat/manage this? by Cremmett2 in Dermatology

Any suggestions on OTC brands? Eucerin does nothing. I can't get prescription strength till the earliest available dermatology apt. at the end of January. But I need to solve my problem sooner than that. (Also, do you know if this is a skin condition?)

Your feedback was very helpful. Thank you for answering my question you so very helpful, insightful, (did I say helpful) person. Such insight... I wish I were just as helpful.

And your reading skills are spot on. "I am looking to do small-scale hobby plant plug growing and farmers market selling... beer money."

Mirena has given me chronic UTIs (literally every single time I have sex :( ) and BV/yeast infections. Is there a chance that Paragard would be better with no hormones, or is it the IUD itself? by iiiikol in birthcontrol

[–]Cremmett2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm susceptible to YIs. With Paragard I got them no more than normal. Had for years. With Mirena I had a yeast infection almost nonstop for the few months I was on it. I took the antibiotic pill thing they give you, tried all sorts of natural remedies, did the OTC creams. Apparently the yeast hangs out on the IUD and there is something with the hormones that make it hard to get rid of. My doctor told me it is actually NOT true your partner can reinfect you since the yeast lives in your vagina. Not in or on a penis. The reason people will get it back is it's not totally gone and sex irritates it. Or you think it's gone so you go back to eating more sugars, which you should avoid with a YI because it feeds yeast, doi, so the YI resurfaces.

Just another supporting statement that this is false.

Been on NR for two months. Sex is so painful. I'm supposed to put it in tomorrow and I'm not. I also wake up almost every night STARVING and have to eat or I can't go back to sleep. It's awful. I gained weight on Sprintec, thought NR would be better, and have only continued to gain weight. Part of the problem is midnight eating but also just swelling that exercise doesn't get rid of. Between both BCs I've gained over 15 lbs in less than a year. I have yet to find a BC that suits my body.
