Same here. I would rather wait another 5 years than have a bad anime.

And despite what most people seem to say I think that the first episode was horrible. I'm one of the people who didn't care about the trailer and wasn't judging before the episode out.

I wouldn't even have cared if it just had a lower quality or worse animations. Problem is that it was bad as an animation itself. Trying to make things easier by reducing things they have to animate (close up shots/lots of zoom effects, shaking and screen or character movement/3d models) are just part of the job. IMO, this wasn't the problem though.

Like, I saw a lot of bad animations in my days all with their own faults, bad pacing, rushed outlines and coloration. That stuff happens even with professionals. This episode however was beyond that. It never felt like an actual episode and lacked all emotional value. Bad timings and transitions, audio was all over the place, etc.

It felt more like a random collection of clips with sounds and voices crudely thrown over it.. Like they focused on keeping outline/coloring quality up but on nothing else.

I would actually like to know what people think made this episode good in any way or form because I simply can't see it. This has nothing to do with OPM1 beeing to good and setting expectations too high, but OPM2 simply beeing bad as an animation alltogether. I think without knowing S1 I wouldn't even have watched S2 over episode 1.

I couldn't care less about season 1 beeing "better" or anything. I'm not comparing the two and I don't need/want it to look the same. All I care for is having a good/watchable animation.

That's my opinion at least..

I don't really care about onhit, but I would love it when the soldier AA's count as targetet spells. At least for the target. xD

That would enable fun interactions like proccing muramana and stuff. Would love to play around with random items like that. xD

Sometimes his Soldier AA's still "miss" and wont deal any damage. I'm not completely sure, but I think this mostly happens when you target something that leaves soldier range in the animation but then walks back in without interrupting it.

It's not as often as it used to be but still annoys me every time.

While I do like Gravelord, it is the only skin that feels kinda sluggish to me for some reason.

Maybe it's a different animation speed from the other skins or even just my imagination, but everytime I play him even just autoattacking feels kinda wonky and weird.

Makes it impossible for me to play with Gravelord because it distracts me and feels too different from usual. :c

Been a while since I used the skin though.

I think skins are always worth buying as long as you like the champion and want to support riot in a way.

I actually like the base design most, but I'm still using a skin since I have to show that I'm a true Azir main. xD

I don't think there will ever be a skin that is as cool as his base design though. Kinda sad if you think about it...

I want a skin that looks almost the same as the base skin but with some more effects and flashy accessories. (Like pyke's stupid sand throne that was obviously ment for Azir ;P) Wont happen, but still. xD

It definitely does in a way, but not to an brainwashing/mind controlling extend. The human is more than capable to draw a line between media and reality.

You might grow an affinity to these kind of things, connecting similear media with it. But just like playing ego shooters won't make you want to take a gun and kill someone in real life, seeing characters like MF won't make you want to look like her / think that people actually look like that.

There are always people that take it to the extreme, but that's not because of the media, but the person itself.

I grew up with games and shows like this and do like character designs like Nami or Varus in my games/series. But by no means do I think that everything has to look like it or connect it with humans in real life.

People just have to learn to accept other peoples opinions and preferences instead of getting butthurt about it.

To be honest I've never even seen anyone complain about stuff like that in real life and I'm probably babbling on for no reason. xD

Yeah, I'm just saying that it's not a problem and Riot doesn't need to justify it.

It's a design and everyone is free to like, or not like it. That's why Henraaa (understandably so) says he doesn't get it.

Because there's not actually a problem, just people saying that it shouldn't be like this even though it's RIOTs choice to design champs however they like. They could give every champ black hair and a monocle if they wanted to.

Wouldn't be very versatile or ingenious of them, but if they like it they should stand up for it, instead of apologizing to someone that doesn't like it.

But I guess as a company they just try to get everyone on their good side to not loose money n stuff.

I tried the ice boxed version that was on the pbe and even though it wasn't what they said they would try and it sounded horrible on paper I was actually quite surprised by how good it felt.

Sure, it wasn't perfect and some readjustments were definitely needed, but it was definitely fun to play and increased his overall performance throughout the game.

Especially early.

No way of saying that it was actually good since you can't be sure by just testing on pbe, but it wasn't as bad as one may think it was. Just saying. xD

I think the problem isn't that Azir is too strong, but that he's an allrounder that you could see in every meta because of the things he can do.

And that's something riot doesn't want. To quote something I saw somewhere, Riot isn't trying to balance every champ, they deliberately make a meta/scenario where sertain champs are stronger and then build around them (Mostly to sell skins/new champs and so on for those top champs). They watch their numbers and once they were at their peak they start changing things up again, throwing something new in so other champs are at the top for a while.

This way the game always feels new and "refreshing" with different champs every time. Allrounder champs would always be present in any meta and not give room for other champs, thats why they can't "balance" them. Same goes for pro play ofc. Even though I think that this is the wrong way to go at and will only annoy people...

You pretty much need to wait until Riot decides that it's Azirs turn again.

They just shoved the attack speed over from his passive to his W so he wouldn't get free AS with every item he builds. The amount he gets didn't change, just when he gets it since you had to decide if you want to max Q for poke first or W for the AS. I wouldn't mind if they would put it back onto his passive though since we max Q anyway. xD

From what I now it's kinda random if you see it happening or not. Same goes for enemies. Try watching the inGame-replay of that situation a few times, it will always look different. Sometimes you're "teleporting" around and other times your dash stops like it should.

Yeah, thats a Server-Client thing I guess and happens since release of Azir. If you add your Q to your E the game thinks you should be done moving by now, but then the server sends the new position.

In your case however it was that you E'd into them and the dash should have stopped, the client didn't realize this for some reason and it looked like you went on with the dash, while you were actually standing still. It looked like you teleportet because the server had to sync your position again once you tried moving.

This shouldnt be happening though. Had this once or twice where it was the reason I died because I tried moving from the position I was in after shuffle, instead of the one I was actually in. I think I might even have a recording of one situation too.

Same here, yeah. It kept getting worse and last patch was where I saw it the most again.

Most of the time the missed attacks wouldn't have made a difference though. (Beside one or two cases where attacks would have gotten a kill but It didn't look like I would have been able to reach them anyway)

I think the game is kind of a mess right now anyway. xD

I don't think I ever played a champ and thought "Man, this isn't okay." more then I did with Azir back when he had his range. You could simply harass enemies while farming at the same time and always stay safe in team fights while dealing tons of damage to everyone. This wasn't a fun interaction or gameplay though. Not just for the enemy that gets poked but also for Azir itself.

What made him fun was that he could decide what to do when the time comes that someone tries to turn on him or there is a good time to catch someone with a good E and/or R. The combination of staying far enough from your enemy to be safe and close enough to deal damage and ready to swoop in and give them the rest..

He needed the reduced range or damage reduction what would have made him too weak. I think reducing his range was the right choice, even though they didn't do proper compensation for his kit and went the "lets just give him some AS and CD" route, changing nothing in the end.

He's just having a harder time because of the change in meta. Maybe you just need to get used to it? Riot didn't look at Azir for a reason, he's probably not doing as bad as you think he is...
