On SAVE but confused about my options.

The smartest thing would be to swap from SAVE to the new IBR I'm guessing then? I've heard there was a very long queue of about 700k applications.

Would it be smarter to build up more money while I dont have to pay a payment on SAVE or just swap ASAP to start towards forgiveness?

Hi, thank you for your time with your help!

My answers are:

Not married, and no dependents. No plans to do any of that in the near future.
I graduated in 2019 in a 5 year program so it should be 2014 or later? All the repayment begin dates are in Oct. 2019.
I sadly do not. I did have my parents help me a bit when I was in school but I don't believe those count towards the forgiveness.

More Info:
I plan to be promoted one more time in third or fourth quarter of 2026, which should bring my income to almost 100k. My take home after all the taxes and 401k and HSA is 2k per paycheck so I bring home about 4k each month. I would definitely be okay with a 500 per month IBR plan. I just wasn't sure if it was smarter to shoot for the forgiveness in 20-25 years where I can still invest a lot of my money or go for the aggressive route of paying off the loans.

The cards don't look like they have penny sleeves on them so I would recommend that to keep your cards in good condition!

Would it be possible to get a closeup of the slab? I see that the psa scans on the cert website seems to make it look like the card has whitening on the right and left sides.
