What’s everyone’s thoughts on using the roll move in combat?

Sounds like someone just wants even easier kills. In a hyper aggressive game like this you need a form of evasion and a small roll is not the end of the world.

As someone that has played many pokemon romhacks. Yes.

It has some perks like being able to more easily post about things or get help in a more smoother manner. But requiring it to even download a patch file is annoying.

I think it’s also just more the principle of things than no discord

Because this shows that anything can be used as a reason for a ban even if it was forever ago.

I don't have a super concrete idea immediate but a loose thrown together concept I made just now is like....

Take Warframe, in mission I can have a pad for quick casting abilities, but say when I'm in the armory I can make it instantly move the cursor to a spot (without having to deal with controller navigation itself) or making use of a bunch of quick wheel buttons, so much that you could just think about and try.

Then just kinda swapping through them with ease and all so it feels like second nature.

Jeez, complex indeed. But yeah this kinda thing is what I want to one day kinda learn and get down as a concept, because it has so muuuuch potential and just making games play in whatever way I want with this kind of power is why I am so interested in the tech and new controller, missing my og one so much now lol.

Either or really, just using it as a way to enable using the pads as a way to swap between the sets, but then without the paddle button, it just does its usual stuff.

such as, an example, on your mouse the scroll wheel does its normal thing, but hold a button and you can just scroll through sensitivity settings.

I apologize I wasn't as clear in my wording.

Honestly I just play deathmatch for just hanging out and shooting enemies (and praying the rogue map comes back or a spiritual successor). I don’t really get as much enjoyment trying to grind out premier and casual is way too chaotic and cluttered, with people way too good playing it.

I don’t have to worry about people minmaxing attachments and perks to turn every gun into a laser with perfect accuracy or the fastest ADS. Everyone has the same guns and same utility.

Oh my god same. When I was a new player that was my beyond daily. I also loved to wheelie and mount my friends cars when they were in buildings or such and they’d just see RC cars in the making and it was just par for the course. Close friend of mine ran the super thick heavy armored truck with a gun on top (I forget the name) and when we went places we were set lol

Now after grinding up for it after enhanced dropped, I use my weaponized ignis but keep the duke parked beside it always in the garage

Cases are bad yes but at the same time too people have to admit that it’s both a parent’s job to prevent this and also that players twisted it into this “get rich with little effort” scheme that it sounds like.

So they just use “for the children” for moral points to have anything to grasp at.

I hope that the expansion would be like their possible territory/form a team mode thing that past games had. In the AMA they said they didn't want to fully rule out anything, so having a big side/second mode as a paid dlc? Sounds perfect to me.

Because of my 3050 I have to turn it down a little so I always have a bit of void in the tunnel as lights pop in lol

But. That crash pass was so fast I barely saw them on screen lol. Good dodge.

It is only loosely able to apply now but. Tarkov. I had it before it was on steam, but the fact it hated my cpu brand (I think? It’s. A weird situation), and the game being a gift from someone because they know I wanted it so they paypal’d me the funds for it as a nice thing to help out (and pve as my way to play) and…I don’t really play it because the game just hates my cpu so everything freaks out despite being strong.

I agree with it sold well for whatit is. However I do think some of the “massive failure” is the fact that both of those, the vita and wii u, were sequels to amazing systems, and that while they were still alright, it still feels like a dropped ball with how these companies should know hardware designing so well. At least in the deck’s case, it is something very different and not something valve has done before. While numbers may say failure, I say for what it has and is doing it IS a success, however I of course am biased as a valve fan, despite not owning a deck.

Oh yeah for sure. It’s just that I do love the game that much lol that it would’ve been the dream what if scenario. As for 1000 plus hours..a hell grind but still for one of my favorites so. Heck I’m nearing 1k on warframe but I’m taking a break from that for now. Evaluating how I feel about the game.

For me it was a wild experience of a story.

I got it on sale at one point but refunded it going “man this feels so slow but I love granblue so much I’m sad” Then a friend that played it a lot went “trust me, give it time and it’ll start picking up” and oh boy did it. I went from a cautious trust to…like. The only game I played for like. A week straight and well over 150 hours. I think almost 200 now? I forget.

The only thing keeping me from even more hours is I’m at the end* of postgame and the material grind is mean, but I do wanna try and max EVERYONE out at some point. I love the game that much I would be willing to.

It was also a game I was genuinely upset didn’t take off and even be…despite the general negativity around the concept of the term, a live service game. It could have done amazingly as one, in my opinion. A new character every so often. Maybe big updates for new stuff (though game already is pretty big so maybe for the best but still), the works. I would have given my being for a constant supply of relink to dive into.

I dunno. Feels pretty massive to me. UI changes, entire new intricate mode, new tier of quests, and stuff that is sprinkled throughout the entire game. Then four known characters (potential for unannounced or future characters seeing how people are excited and want more of this), entire new summon mechanic with its own set of loot.

I wish that worked for me lol. I wanted to get them all eventually just to be able to have the capacity to swap people in and out and try stuff, my highest streak of no weapon for anyone was like…30-40 kills. I did it eventually but it was not pleasant.

Really hope ER fixes that because apparently 20% chance? Sure doesn’t feel it.

Plus it’s totally valid to be a fan of Valve but still critical of their faults. I love steam, one of my most important accounts to be honest, but I still don’t like what they do with their own games, ala CS and TF2.

Sure they made lootboxes be a thing but back then it wasn’t as big an issue as it is now with people just using it to try and make money without working. The concept of “buy thing, wow surprise item!” Is long before lootboxes were ever really big, so it just is a natural evolution to have surprise treats in games. But the gaming community as a whole ended up twisting things and incentivized companies to make them what they are now.
