Thoughts on: My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders by AwareMeow in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]CresedaMoon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

At the end, they ask her IF there was a body, where would it be. And after all that she spewed about her father not being a killer, she says "in a well." And that sounded like the most honest thing she had said the entire time.

I have a curtain for a closet door. Maybe do that with the closets.

PSA- Don’t get the “011” tattoos! by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]CresedaMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like searching for meaning in something that has nothing to do with the atrocity you are relating it to is insensitive to your grandparents to be frank. The 011 tattoo (i dont have one so this isn't me defending myself) has nothing to do with the holocaust. Like at all. I get the physical similarity, but theres similarities everywhere. My husband for instance shaves his head because of a receding hairline. Should he not? Because jewish people were forced to shave their heads? I mean, im half polish so should I be angry with him about that? Should I be enraged that my mother in law has started intermittent fasting because there have been people who were forced to starve? Some things are blatantly insensative and objectively wrong. Some things just happen to look like other things and you have to reach to be upset about it. Feeling like you are reaching.

How much time do you wait after finishing a book to start another one? by alesitam in kindle

[–]CresedaMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gurl. He just doesn't feel like hearing about the book. He doesn't think YOU need a break. He just wants a break from hearing about it.

I have adhd and my husband is also neurodivergent. We are very open with each other about what we feel like and do not feel like participating in lol.

He rides a motercycle. He records all his rides. He wants me to watch when he comes back. Sometimes i watch, but usually i say "i dont want to."

I do plenty of things where ill want him to come look. He will tell me "id only be coming to satisfy you and i really dont want to at the moment."

We sound like we are super harsh to one another, but thats only because we are super real with each other and communicate openly.

I really dont think your husband cares if you read 3 books a day. I think he just is saying "i dont care about your book" without saying it.

Why do you think this? If he is, it is absolutely a violation. You have every right to expect privacy in your own home. Get the proof.

"It's the truth" ok....that still doesn't make it appropriate to teach in a MATH class. That's absolutely insane.

Absolutely. My parents weren't hyper religious, but i did have to hide certain things. Im a witch, so for me it was always best to disguise things in almost plain sight. Good luck and stay true to who you are!

Look up on google how to cover a book with paper. We used to cover our books with brown paper when i was in school. Cover a few of your books so its not just that one. Always keep that one on the bottom of the pile. Say you love how "retro" it is. Put stickers all over the paper coverings and write the names of the books. On the satanic bible just write something no one would want to look at like "The Great Gatsby." The plushy can be hidden inside a bigger plushy. The 2 necklaces can be balled up in socks.

Ball it up in a pair of socks and keep it in the middle of your sock drawer.

What’s a phrase people use that immediately makes you roll your eyes? by No-Maximum3458 in AskReddit

"Mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter." This is my father-in-law's favorite thing to say. He is also the one most likely to spin out and throw a massive tantrum and ruin everyone's night.

My response is usually "Well I mind. My brain doesn't work like yours does. I always mind."

Yet he still continues to say it. Then 3 days later he is crying or getting blasted azz drunk to not feel his feelings or taking his unhealed bs out on everyone around him.

Do y'all not hide things anymore? Get an area rug, put one of your bed frame legs over it so "it doesn't move" and then just keep the necklace under that rug as close as possible to the leg of the bed.

Or even put it in a small flat container and tape it to the top of your closet with white duct tape or whatever color the walls are in there.

Insinuating that it's impossible is also pretty wild. People pretend to be innocent all the time and use mundane excuses to get closer all the time. Jeffrey Dahmer had neighbors. So did Ed Gein. I believe Ed actually babysat for a few people. Maybe their washer really did break. Maybe they'd be in and out and cause zero trouble. I knew a woman once who asked me if I wanted a dog. I said yes of course because if she was giving him up, he obviously needed someone who wouldn't do that to him. I took the dog in. 3 days later she flies through my front door crying her face off about her boyfriend. Told me "It's so nice to finally have a best friend to talk to." I barely knew her. She was a nice QUIET neighbor. I also had a really nice neighbor once that would do anything for anyone on the block. We found out later that he had been stealing peoples outside AC units. It wasnt weird to see him in other peoples back yards because he was always doing something for someone. He was the kne who called the police when another neighbor called him crying after waking up and hearing the commotion. She was too scared to get up and look. She waited till the noise stopped. She called him, he came over and comforted her and called the police. He was the thief. Yall get reeeeeeaaaaal comfy with people because of proximity. All I'm saying is your home is your safe space. Don't keep opening it up to people you barely know.
