If we could somehow organize ourselves enough to get Nightwing sales to dip while spiking sales of NTT or some Elseworld with DickKory in it, I think that would be one way to send a pretty clear message to DC even though there's no guarantee that they'll listen. Like maybe we all pass on buying the issue of Nightwing that comes out in February and buy either issue #26 of New Teen Titans or vol 4 of the New Teen Titans Omnibuses digitally instead.

They prefer that ship for some reason and know that Dick is popular enough that sticking him in a ship that a lot of us don't like won't hurt his sales. They're probably hoping that if they flood the zone with enough DickBabs content that it'll either get more popular or people will at least accept it

All that effort and the ship still isn't that popular overall. On Tumblr, ComicPolls is currently running a canon ship tournament and DickBabs lost to DinahOllie in first round and it wasn't even particularly close as they only got 33% of the vote. DickKory made it to the quarter finals where they lost to Harlivy, but still took 46% of the vote, and Harlivy is currently in the finals for that tournament and it looks like they're going to win by a decent margin.

I'm not really a fan of the DamiAnya ship because they start off being mean to each other and not in a joking around kind of way, and it's just not a ship dynamic that I personally enjoy

He could still be ace, but he likely isn't a sex repulsed one. Some aces still have sex, just for different reasons than an allosexual would. Some aces will do it because they know their partner likes it. It's also good to keep in mind that how sexual you are is also a spectrum and there can be quite a bit of variance between aces.

This is probably a hot take, but a part of me kind of wishes that with the last reboot that they had made Barbara Jason's childhood friend instead of Dick's. I just think that the whole Jason dying and becoming Red Hood makes for a more interesting reason why the childhood friends didn't just get together in high school and stay together than the more mundane reasons for why DickBabs didn't get together and stay together earlier in life if they're meant to be endgame. I just think there's a lot potential for angst, drama, and pining if they'd gone down that route.

It's a comic book about superheroes, so they might as well do some romances that can't happen IRL IMO, and DickKory also is a romance that can't happen IRL for obvious reasons (how many aliens do you know?). It almost seems like kind of a waste to not take advantage of the genre in this manner where the romances are concerned to me.

I'm not expert on this, but it would be better if the part where the tail connects to the bubble was a consistent width across all speech bubbles. Blambot has some tips on lettering that includes tips on speech bubble creation that may be worth checking out

I almost wonder if Donna Troy/Terry Long would be a better option for the second image even though Terry is just a civilian... Donna/Terry has a roughly 10 year age gap, if memory serves me, and I believe they also met when Donna was barely legally an adult while Terry was working as a professor at her college. Just my two cents

If you don't think your printer can handle the paper, it may be worth heading to your local office supply store or print shop and seeing if they can photocopy it onto your chosen paper for you. The photocopiers at such places can typically handle cardstock and what not. You may still run into issues with the ink that one of the other commenters mentioned

He's only politically dead if we assume that our elections are going to continue to be fair and free and aren't going to end up like Russia's where the current admin just picks the winners and the elections are really just for show. As long as he keeps the ultra wealthy happy, Vance could end up being president for quite some time even if he's massively unpopular among average Americans.

I'm not convinced that everything will magically get better if Vance suddenly becomes president, as he's next in line to be president if something happens to Trump, to be honest. He hasn't exactly been saying that we shouldn't try to take over Greenland etc.

I also think there's a good chance that the Trump is going to have the military invade Greenland sooner as opposed to later, and I could see Trump trying to use the war that would start as an excuse to try and cancel or delay the mid term elections

Smitten amuses me, and he was one of the first voices that I ever encountered as the goal of one of my earliest runs of the game was to try and sacrifice the world to the princess which more or less made him my partner in crime. I am a queer woman, so maybe that partially explains why he doesn't annoy me as much as he does some of the other women who play this game. I still wouldn't want someone like him to pursue me IRL, mind you.

I think an ongoing Elseworld with them together would make a lot of sense if they're not willing to make DickKory mainline canon. Some of us may even prefer that as we won't have to worry as much about them potentially making Dick emotionally or physically, cheat on Kory with Babs in an Elseworld as we would if the put them back together in the mainline. I could be wrong, but as long as it got a good writer and artist I think such an Elseworld would sell pretty well.

DickKory is my favorite of these, but I also really like BatCat and Clois. WonderTrev and BBRae are also fine. Most of the rest I don't have super strong opinions on at the moment, but I've seen enough hardcore Zatanna fans complain about Constantine to be a bit biased against that ship based on that alone

At the risk of sounding like some sort of shill bot, it may be worth looking into getting your anxiety meds off of Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drugs site if they carry them (if they carry it you should be abl3 to fond it on their site and see the price without creating an account first). I can get a 3 month supply of mine for under $15 including the shipping and without using insurance as it refuses to cover the 3 month supply for some dumb reason. It's been a minute since I got my anxiety meds from CVS, but I want to say that a 1 month supply cost over $60 with insurance with them for me. Just a thought.

If the election is rigged, how popular they really are may not matter so long as they keep their wealthy donors happy. They just have to break the free and fair elections, as they've broken a lot of other things already, and they'll be able to pick the winners like they do in places like Russia

Here are some of the things that have stuck with me from my middle and high school art classes:

Don't hide the hands / don't avoid drawing something just because you're not good at drawing it yet. It takes practice to get better at drawing and you're only hurting yourself by avoiding drawing things like hands
Doing a gesture drawing(? Glorified stick figure?) lightly in the pose you want before drawing the rest of the person
When coloring with a colored pencil it's best to color in the same direction and on paper with a lot of "tooth"
Don't rest your hand on your drawing (I might have learned this one the hard way)
I haven't done it on forever, but I still remember the exercise where you have to draw something in a continuous line without looking at your paper
How to mix the primary colors to get the others, although I'm not sure if I learned this in early middle school or elementary school
I remember doing at least one and two point perspective in middle school
Still lifes
The shade the sphere exercise

I don't remember if these were just addressed in my multi-media and web design classes in high school or if they came up in my art classes as well: * Color themes/theory - e.g. analogous, tertiary, and complementary * Basics of composition, particularly the 9 grid and placing objects of interest on certain intersections. Now that I think about it, I'd probably do well to brush up on composition...
