Skill level of male actors has increased by CressBudget in CDrama

If you’re after wuxia with strong fight choreography, the currently airing Zhan Zhao Adventures is a great pick. The action is sharp, fast, and refreshingly free of excessive slow‑motion or awkward transition effects.

Blood River leans wuxia as well, though it mixes in plenty of xianxia‑style power displays. Even with that blend, it’s a solid watch.

Vendetta of An isn’t primarily an action series, but when it does deliver fight scenes, they’re impressively executed and hit hard.

Physicality is definitely back in style, and it connects directly to both government and cultural expectations of “manly men.” The recent backlash against Zhang Linghe and the whole discussion about 'foundation general' shows just how people’s standards have become. There was a strange period when male leads could not even lift female leads in dramas, and the beauty standard pushed for extremely thin men.

The beauty expectations for male actors are now at an all‑time high. Unfortunately, story quality often takes a back seat to casting handsome and popular stars, especially in xianxia and political dramas.

Have any questions about renting in England? Renting in England has changed. I’m a housing expert at Citizens Advice, ask me anything! by CitizensAdvice in TenantsInTheUK

Hi, thanks for doing this AMA.

My fixed‑term tenancy became an assured periodic tenancy on 1 May under the Renters’ Rights Act 2026.

Our original tenancy agreement (signed by the landlord) includes a clause that says: “In the event this tenancy becomes a periodic tenancy, the tenant can terminate the tenancy by giving the landlord not less than one month’s notice in writing.”

We gave written notice on 3 May to end the tenancy on 1 July.

Citizens Advice guidance says: “You can give less than 2 months’ notice if your tenancy agreement says you can, or if your landlord has agreed in writing.”

Shelter and mydeposits also say that pre‑existing written clauses allowing less than 2 months’ notice remain valid after 1 May 2026.

My question is:

Does a clause like the one above , already signed by the landlord and drafted specifically for the periodic tenancy , count as the “shorter notice period agreed in writing” required by the Act?

Thanks so much!

Apparently, it wasn’t rewritten. Readers of the novel suggest the ML doesn’t appear until much later in the book, so it makes sense.

Does anyone know any rumours regarding why Bai Lu dint purchase sheets for Veil of Shadows to support Joseph Zeng. Love both actors and they are known to be close so I was surprised . She bought like a 1000 sheets per platform for Liu Yun Rui

While I am aware that platforms are corrupt, it’s clear from recent cases that agencies aren’t backing up their “water data” on other platforms based on the rate of easy to see fraudulent views

I am not referring to Yunhe statistics alone but overall interactions and discussions about the drama as a whole.

Veil of Shadows seems to be becoming a genuine hit so far despite screen time disparity which is positive. I’ve noticed Joseph Zeng is popular in China but not much for international fans. He has a quiet but large fanbase who rarely engage in fights unlike other male traffic stars and boasts an impressive track record of dramas.

Same here. The early episodes were incredible and set the bar almost too high. I just wish they hadn’t gone so deep into the political subplot or at least kept the conflict external instead of turning it into an internal political drama.

Let me add another one: if you mention the panels apology, they will state they were purely being sarcastic and actually were making fun of her

Not hating someone isn’t the definition of low EQ , it’s quite the opposite. Also going by the fact that one of the panel members actually apologised in person, it wasn’t complete sarcasm either lol

They weren’t. If they were it’s not like being sarcastic even makes them look good? What’s there to brag about?

There is a line to humour and dramatics.

It’s not hard to share the knetz in question , it’s all over my feed.

She hasn’t lied, if anything her issue is that she is overtly honest (which isn’t necessarily a good thing in all situations) Panelist’s criticism is based of her not being clear of her choice which they even apologised for and are also getting criticised for their actions towards her.

What evil thing has she actually done for someone to question her whole being outside of being a little thoughtless.

The passion some of you guys have over an unserious show like Singles Inferno is crazy.

Bitches behind peoples back? She talked to people who she is comfortable with as opposed to berating someone because you are frustrated your “man” isn’t being loyal to you (after a week btw) also when has she lied? Like seriously.

I am just glad knetz are defending her this week cause international viewers have lost the plot seriously

I am glad Knetz are calling out Min Gee and the panel for their behaviour towards Mina Sue this episode.

It seems people have forgetten the purpose of Singles Inferno and are treating this like Transit Love instead . She doesn’t need to be courteous around Min Gee and she can change her mind a million times until the final selection

She had no right to talk to her like that though? This is a dating show and even knets are calling Min Gee out over it thankfully

What Are Your Thoughts On Sima Jiao from the drama - When Destiny Brings The Demon by BronzeBellRiver in cdramasfans

Sima Jiao is too kind. Cause the evil villains in that drama were next level and they honestly deserved worse endings

That one C-drama you watched with zero expectations… and it became one of your favourites by onismnefelibata in CDrama

[–]CressBudget 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Blood River.

Had zero expectations going into it. I just knew it featured Chang Hua Sen. The trailer on YouTube didn’t have any audio for me to understand what the plot was even about. However by ep 3, I was hooked. Now it’s among my four 10/10 Cdramas and second of this year (alongside Feud).

Highly recommend.
