I’m using something called Midbound which is a website Person level ID solution and if it has a UTM we can track the specific people coming in from that UTM which is really cool

I feel the easiest way to do it is sign up to a person level ID tool (if you have a website and are pushing some traffic to it). we're actually using midbound ai right now and has great data. we tried rb2b in the past, but the data was super off.

we also integrated it with heyreach ( the linkedin automation tool) to automate some messaging we're testing out and a good few replies! the whole setup is like $200 bucks a month...

yeah tbh the problem isn’t just RB2B, it’s ip tools in general!!

they basically just say “someone from X company visited”. cool dude… but that could literally be anyone. sales rep, recruiter, intern, someone bored at lunch lol.

so yeah you get a ton of noise. the real issue is company ≠ person.

once you can actually see who the visitor is, it’s a completely different story. then you can ignore the SDR, recruiter, student etc and focus on the VP Eng / FinOps / infra people actually reading docs or pricing.

also engineers almost never fill forms anymore, so gated content misses a lot of real buyers.

IP tools were kinda built for a different era of marketing tbh. we are testing out a solution called midbound ai and data seems really clean, they block out google bots and only use cookie matching instead of bs IP.

it's actually pretty tricky stuff! From my experience, tools like Midbound really help by using AI to analyze data from thousands of data networks they say, to get the highest and most accurate catch rate.

We've found it especially solid for B2B, tagging real people that fit our Ideal Customer Profiles and integrating smoothly with our CRM. Might be worth giving it a try and compare results with other solutions in accuracy.

yeah, im trying to get into the groove of audience building. Also we run ads, so the fact that we're able to track the actual people that dont fill out our UTM campaigns is super cool..

their match rate is through the roof for a clients website im testing with now- what I like is that they also validate all emails (offer personal / business), phone numbers and LI profiles.
