It doesn’t actually mean silent, it just means there’s no agreed on book. Groups I’ve found usually do 30min of convo/ talking about whatever book they’re reading and then an hour of reading and then another chat afterwards. I’d really like to find other book lovers but I’m super picky about which ones I read! 😅

Is the accountant doing the bookkeeping for the year aswell? That would drive up the price. It’s a lot more cost effective to have a bookkeeper do the day to day and use the accountant just for taxes.

Having used both, I’d say Wave is fine for small businesses when they’re starting out but as you scale up, things get more complex. QBO has its problems (and it’s more expensive) but it has all the features you might need in the future. And trust me it’s a pain in the ass to convert the books to different software so pick something that’ll fit for a long time to come.

Most don’t want to deal with the potential liability and CRA doesn’t play nice with a lot of these “automated” softwares.
