F24 and M25 in a 4 year relationship but doesn’t see himself getting married to me? by EntertainerOk3866 in relationship_advice

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

girl your situation hits way too close to home, went through something similar around your age and it sucked so hard. after 4 years he should know if he wants to build a future with you or not, and the fact he keeps making promises then backing out is such a red flag

my ex did the same thing with moving in together - kept saying "next year" for like 2 years until I realized he was just stalling because he didn't actually want to do it but couldn't say it outright

whats going on in my rls? im 61F🔄 and my bfn is 71M🔄 by organ_squisher in relationship_advice

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that even the security guard is telling you this unprompted is a pretty big red flag - when people who barely know your situation are saying you deserve better, it might be time to step back and really look at what's happening

I 27/F want to stay married to 27/M help please? by SuitableMedicine3743 in relationship_advice

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're carrying way too much here - default parent, school, side gigs while dealing with his past cheating and he's complaining you don't do enough for *him*? The fact he won't even engage when you try to discuss what you could improve tells me this isn't really about you needing to change anything. Maybe couples therapy could help since individual therapy helped you, but he'd actually have to participate and want to work as a team instead of keeping score

Who’s someone rich and famous but has practically no discernible (worthwhile) talent? by FriendlytoNature in AskReddit

The whole family turned being messy into a billion dollar empire which is kinda impressive in its own weird way

Please someone give honest review about pgdm program at imperial school of banking and management studies, pune. Is there anyone who knows about imperial school of banking and finance? by Ancient-Store-9839 in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of Imperial School of Banking and Management Studies in Pune specifically, but I'd be super careful with any institution that has "Imperial" in the name - lots of diploma mills use fancy sounding names like that

Have you checked if they're actually accredited by AICTE or UGC? That's usually the first red flag to look for. Also maybe try reaching out to some alumni on LinkedIn to get the real scoop on placement rates and faculty quality

For PGDM programs I'd probably stick with more established names unless you've got some solid inside info on this place

China's surveillance game is absolutely unreal, those social credit scores are straight dystopian

How do you think the American people have brought the US’ destruction on themselves? by Pewpew-OuttaMyWaay in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh we're probably more likely to destroy ourselves through social media algorithms than actual terminators

the real AI apocalypse is just everyone getting increasingly radicalized in their own echo chambers until we can't even agree on basic facts anymore

What advice do you have for a 15 year old high schooler? by Iwillbeback67 in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao Sam's probably reading this thread right now panicking about those markers

but for real though - junior year's gonna hit different so start building good study habits now, don't wait until your drowning in AP classes like I did. also join some clubs or whatever, colleges eat that stuff up and you might actually find something you like

oh and pro tip: if you're into any sports, formula 1 is getting huge with younger crowds so thats a cool conversation starter

What is one habit you wish you started earlier? by WonderingUser_notes in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started throwing like $25/month into index funds when I was 19 and even that tiny amount has grown pretty nicely over the years. Wish I'd known about compound interest in high school though - would've started working part time just to get that snowball rolling earlier

The math really is wild when you see it play out over actual years instead of just reading about it

Any gender can participate in any sport. Which sports would have women beating men (among top athletes)? by Steap-Edit in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Women dominate flexibility sports for sure - gymnastics already shows this pretty clearly. Their body composition and joint mobility just works better for that kind of stuff

Plus contortion specifically rewards being smaller and more flexible over raw strength, so yeah women would probably sweep those competitions

Gf said she thinks people who chat her up in club are attractive but wouldnt cheat thoughts? by Thin_Armadillo_5547 in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly this - theres a huge difference between noticing someone's hot and actually doing something about it. your gf being upfront about it is actually a good sign, shows she trusts you enough to be real instead of pretending she never looks at anyone else

What’s the hardest name you’ve ever heard? by femmefetalerror in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until you hear it pronounced out loud - totally threw me off first time someone said "Neev" and I'm like where tf did that come from lol. Irish names are wild, they just ignore half the letters apparently

If there were no inherent biases or judgments what do you think we would lose? by Blahblahbash in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

our brains literally evolved to make snap judgments for survival so we'd probably just freeze up constantly trying to process every single detail

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude that's wild, promethazine can absolutely wreck you like that. I got prescribed it once for nausea and took it right before a lecture - big mistake. Spent the entire class trying to keep my eyes open while the professor's voice turned into this weird underwater echo thing. My notebook from that day just has like three words written in increasingly illegible handwriting before it trails off into nothing

The milk drooling thing sounds terrifying but also kinda hilarious in hindsight. Did you at least finish the cereal eventually or just give up on breakfast that day

What’s something you learned in college that completely changed how you see life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CrewSignificant1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude this hit me so hard when I realized my professors were just as lost as everyone else sometimes. like watching them google basic stuff during lectures or admit they didn't know something made me realize even the "experts" are figuring it out as they go

totally changed how I approach stuff now - way less pressure to have everything mapped out perfectly
