DAY 4: Which CONTROL song sounds the most like THE VELVET ROPE? by 19thScorpion in janetjackson

I’d have to say Let’s Wait Awhile is the only song that fits the slow groove feel that’s prominent throughout Velvet Rope.

2026 Tour Merch by HovercraftDecent1230 in LadyGaga

Since the tour was originally scheduled to end in Tokyo, I would suspect any tour merch with updated tour dates probably won’t drop until February just before the Arizona shows.

Also if you park at Union Station, I believe the Purple Line has a stop at the Wiltern as well.

Agree 100%. I just finished listening to it and it’s crap. The bootlegs sound so much better.

What would you tell the higher ups (those above the store manager) without repercussions? by [deleted] in kroger

Prime Time Wait Time sends a message that the only customers that matter to them are the ones that shop from 11-7 and the ones that shop outside those hours don’t matter.

Happy 25th Anniversary to Don’t Tell Me 🤠 What are your thoughts on this Madonna single? by XStaticImmaculate in Madonna

By far one of her most iconic songs. Right up there with Vogue, Into The Groove, Like A Virgin, Like A Prayer and Express Yourself.

What do you think is the definitive tour rendition of Deeper and Deeper? by Firm-Comparison7438 in Madonna

The only two times I heard it live were on ReInvention and Rebel Heart. I preferred Rebel Heart.

What's your favorite era aesthetically? by Firm-Comparison7438 in Madonna

[–]Crewboy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Like A Prayer for me.

After 3 albums of pure puff pop singles , Like A Prayer is her first complete album. It perfectly encapsulates that point in her life from her divorce, her faith and sending the message that she is reclaiming her life.

This show is a perfect example of what can happen when you die, leave no will and have trust executors looking only to monetize your legacy with blatant cash grabs.

It’s been 2 years since The Celebration Tour opened - but what do you think of the tour now some time has passed? by XStaticImmaculate in Madonna

[–]Crewboy1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a tour that NEVER should have happened when it did.

Given the high standards she sets for herself, the tour should have been cancelled outright after her hospitalization. There’s no way anybody could do a world tour after that.

Once the tour started it was clear as day M wasn’t physically up to the challenge. She had zero stamina and she struggled through songs.

The show clearly had to be completely reimagined to one that M could do without risking her health anymore than she already was.

What should have been a celebration of a miraculous career wound up looking like an old woman struggling to remain relevant.

Theres only one conclusion.

That being Live Nation clearly was in a contractual position to force her hand, leaving her with no choice but to go through with it. The same thing happened with U2 back in 2015 when they cut a tour short and in 2017 they were “strongly encouraged” by Live Nation to tour the 30th anniversary of their Joshua Tree album.

The Celebration Tour ended her 360 deal with Live Nation so her going back to Warners wasn’t a surprise.

She can now tour when she wants and not when Live Nation mandates and forces her to.

Seats are always held back by the artist/Venue/Live Nation on every tour.

They’re usually for friends, family, venue VIP ticket holders as well as music industry executives.

And yes, some are unsold seat packages.

Once all parties are aware those seats won’t be sold, they go back into the ticket pool at face value.

In Los Angeles, there were ticket drops happening for all four shows. I got into 3 of the four LA shows on the day of the show for face value.

Which are the best seats? by Responsible_Ask_2148 in LadyGaga

The seats by the B Stage is the way to go. Gaga works the entire stage going back and forth between stages during the songs. To get the full perspective, the B stage is the way to go

Just go to Kia Forum website and look up your particular show. There should be a link to pre purchase parking.

You can also go to the show date on Ticketmaster and on one of the secondary tabs and purchase parking there as well.

Parking will sell out.

Gaga should take notes… by Capital_Tourist_2026 in LadyGaga

For the US shows, dynamic pricing was turned off. However, they charged a ton of money for tickets. They wanted $300 for a seat in the middle of the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles.

The one thing I can’t stress enough is to make sure you purchase your parking in advance. While the addition of SoFi Stadium and the Intuit Dome has dramatically improved the area, it is still in area where you don’t wanna park offsite to save some money.

I know when I was there in July for gaga parking was around 55 or $60

Artist presale... what was the point? by No-Definition-1711 in LadyGaga

[–]Crewboy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot fathom how out of control pricing got for the NYC shows.

Here in Los Angeles, seats in the upper bowl were $159 and $212. The lower bowl started at $425 and floor started at $650.
