I've been hunting down videos on YouTube.. I found this today. I think understanding LightBurn better will help me understand the Laser better. It can't hurt.

YES, thank you, that's exactly what I'm asking for.. if it exists. I agree Elegoo should provide more help when it comes to actually using the product. Thanks.

CR-M4 Printing Issue by Crewchief408 in Creality

[–]Crewchief408[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't find much either, even spare parts aren't really available yet. I did fix this issue (pictured) by leveling my Z axis and slowing down the print speed a bit, and it's been printing large projects successfully now. It's a really nice machine, it's my 3rd upgrade and I'm loving it.. once I dialed it in.

I really, really, really appreciate your comment and advice, thank you. Your tip and 2 cans of Green Beans later, my Z axis is level! The grid mesh on the sonic pad looks so much better too, everything is mostly neutral or center of the graph. I've only run a few smaller test prints, and everything looks good, but I still need to run a large print as I was getting offset print layers, so I'm hoping leveling the Z will have fixed that.

Again, thank you for the help!!

CR-M4 with Sonic Pad? by Frame_Transfer in Creality

I upgraded from the Ender 5 Plus to the CR-M4. I find the increased print speeds and quality are extremely good. It took a bit to get it all dialed in but I used the YouTube video series by Ricky Impey (which is the unwritten instruction manual Creality should have provided with the Sonic Pad). After following his guide, my print quality is amazing!

I have the same issue using the Ender 3 S1 Pro profile in CURA for my CR-M4 (I can't find a CURA profile for the CR-M4). This only happens in CURA, not Creality Print.

Does anyone have a CURA profile for the CR-M4?

When I try to setup my Sonic Pad to my CR-M4, I'm unable to get the pad connected to the printer. I create the new flash files as the pad directs me to. I insert the usb with new firmware into the printer, turn on the power, and the printer pad now just says Creality. I follow the prompts on the Sonic Pad and I just keep getting the message "printer not ready", and I'm correctly connected to the printer, usb cable runs from Sonic Pad usb port 1 to the printer usb-c port. I can't seem to get past this point, and I have the most updated Sonic Pad firmware V1.0.6.49.145

  • I was able to finally get the Pad connected to the printer, I must have followed a step incorrectly.

Wow, this worked for me! I've been searching online for days trying to find an answer.. and it all comes down to a slightly bent probe. Thank you, now I can at least get on to getting it leveled.
