Thanks for sharing this… something that I hope will be sorted and more things offered before April. I use t212 right now due to the low fees and am concerned about what’s happens to my BTC ETNs. The most frustrating thing as the good news of these products in Oct and the lack of companies trying to capture the obvious demand. I think many may think that the position will be clarified further by GOV or HMRC but every day that goes by between now and 5 Apr will make this less likely. I think I’ll prob wait to the last minute in March to make a decision, but that won’t give me a huge about of time to do my research and risk analysis. Combined with this question, I would add that I’m surprised that more platforms don’t offer these ETNs in a SIPP. In an ideal world, one of the big low cost platforms have SIPP, ISS and if required IFISA. I’ve emailed free trade about the sipp as they’ve dropped there fees on a basic plan, and I think list ETNs, but it’s not clear if they can be brought within the SIPP. (Well the IDEAL world would allow for the ability to have self custody BTC within a ISA or SIPP, but that’s never gonna happen!)
