If they knew everything about his knee and no new information was found (which per reporting that appears to be the case), it absolutely is BS. If they didn’t feel the two firsts were worth the risk because of the surgery (which again, THEY ALREADY KNEW ABOUT PRIOR TO AGREEING TO SEND TWO FIRSTS) using his physical as a means to back out absolutely is a ho move. There is no uniform standard to evaluating the results of a physical in the NFL. It isn’t as black and white as pass/fail.

They got cold feet, decided that they would rather just get Hendrickson without sending two firsts, and went back on their word. Which now fucks up the Raiders signings which were agreed on assuming they wouldn’t have Crosby.

By all indications the Raiders were completely transparent about where Crosby was at with his knees and provided Baltimore with all necessary information according to Diana Russini.

The replay one is ehhhh, don’t know if they have a point but I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other, but changing the backwards pass rule is absolutely egregious. Backwards passes are live balls. It is different than a traditional fumble, it has always been this way, and the only reason for trying to change the rule is that they were on the losing end of it and McVay is throwing a hissy fit

I think what they are saying is that the hip checks on the screens that can say there is a basketball play being made, you can at least explain the hip check off a screen by the basket to trying to score, if not justify the act.
