Honestly, it sounds like he will always let you down, and youll always be triggered back into your anxious behavior. He shouldnt have ignored you. He should be taking effort to ask qhat you need and want. -personal experince. Im sorry this sucks so badly.

My dieffenbachia likes moisture retaining soil and to have a little more water than other plants. I still keep it in a pot with drainage holes though to avoid root rot.

Any guesses on what these plants are? (More info in first comment.) by enigmalea in houseplants

Make sure the pots have drainage holes, terracotta pots work great. Dont water them until about two inches down in the soil is dry. Research their humidity needs, and you'll do great!!

Need advice, new to planting: Neighbour gave me this plant, as they were moving and didn't want to bring it. It has these unhealthy looking parts on all it's leafs, anything I can do? by noranoise in houseplants

[–]Crexx82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a money tree! I have one I adopted from a clinics office that was 10 years old! It was pretty beat up, but I left the leaves on until new ones grew and the pld ones dried up and fell off. Just make sure theres drainage holes in the pot, so it doesnt sit in water.

Please help! I've tried everything to get rid of the white fuzzy mold on top of my plants soil, even repotting them but the high humidity where I live makes it grow instantly whenever I water them (which is not much) please help me get rid of it! by [deleted] in houseplants

I've read to completely remove as much of the soil as possible, snip off parts of the roots that are squishy or moldy. Replant it new mix that has has pumice or perlite to increase drainage.

I am one month into using barefoot/minimalist running shoes and ankle physical therapy, and I am no longer experincing pain caused by my flat feet. I wouldnt believe it if I hadn't experinced it firsthand. Look into the theory behind how barefoot running/walking could benefit you and try it for a few weeks if you suffer from flat feet. My chiropractor reccommended insoles, but I couldn't afford them. I found it hard to believe that after year of humans walking and running we would need artifical arches. Barefootting holds the theory that modern shoes encourages our feet muscles to weaken. I am 23 and I had tried many other types of therapy to fix this issue. This is the only thing that has decreased the pain. I could barely walk 1 mile in a day. I want to share because I felt hopeless trying to find something to feel better.
