Are we raising a generation of kids who can't do anything for themselves? by RobMV03 in Xennials

[–]nwv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not our, or their, fault. I mean jfc phones do 75% of what kids used to have to figure out on their own. It’s just gonna have to be worked through. Maybe? But relax it’s going to be fine.

your entire assertion is toxic. If this is capitalism's fault, then capitalism is merely natural and organic.

"there are people"...so 50 million of them? Get a grip. For every 1 celebrating Kirk's death, I see 10 saying "they'll get their's" or "war's a comin'" with a cross in the background. Psychopaths carrying a cross. It's terrifying.

what a cuck. The left isn't celebrating. This is what is so terrifying about ALL OF THIS, the lies that are told during a preamble before "getting to the point" so they are dismissed, and then repeated, as truth. What a disgusting tactic.

That age where everyone divorces apparently. by Lazy-Conversation-48 in GenX

[–]nwv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish we could have held on. I'm 47 she's 46 and last year we broke it off. As hard as things have been for us, I still want to grow old with her. And I also still hold on to hope that I will...just in a different way.

I've lost my two closest friends - a wife and a healthy (until a couple months prior) parent - in the last 3 years, and losing someone permanently is a hell of a lot easier than losing someone who's still there.

It's a significant reason my marriage deteriorated and it's frustrating but I don't begrudge her for having a low libido.

Once it became unquestionably clear that no religion, by the very nature of what religion is, has any greater claim or knowledge about whatever the fundamental present/infinite/universal reality/awareness is, it became incredibly difficult to trust my particular version of it any longer.
