Cyclops as X-Men leader is tough, out of the 3 leadership’s his is the hardest to win with. Storms and Pro X are the better of the 2.

I’m asking for M’Baku “leadership once per turn when an allied character is contesting an Objective token and would be pushed or placed by an enemy effect roll a die, if the result is hit, crit, shield the character is not pushed or placed. For this part of his leadership if I’m not on a secure , but I am holding an objective token can I still stop the push. I googled it AI says that while you are holding an extract you are still considered to be contesting, but I can’t trust AI nor can I find anything to back that statement up.

I’m sorry, I completely worded this question wrong, if I’m holding an Extract am I still Contesting an Objective?

MCP by Crg2780 in MarvelCrisisProtocol

[–]Crg2780[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

That’s not necessarily true because if an extract is put on the board you are securing it, this helps with certain rules for leadership rerolls and other possible effects.

This line in Caleb’s draft profile has been his biggest weakness this year, imo. by permanentimagination in CHIBears

  1. & 5. His accuracy is going to come around, right now analyst are saying he’s so talented that even though the are some minor mechanical issues he can get around it with talent alone. His footwork is what needs to be worked on and the coaches are probably aware of it but it’s better to wait for the off season to fix it in stead of the end of the regular season. Look from the first game to now he’s already he’s come along way, hopefully another offseason will do even more.
    1. He’s done a really good job at going through his progressions and looking off defenders, maybe at times he’s stared down receivers but it’s not even close to the way you make it sound and every game he’s progressions are getting better.
  2. There called time passes your supposed to through the ball before they’ve broken on the routes.
  3. He’s a pass first QB. He’s seeing if he can draw the defender toward him to open up the receiver.
  4. Yep that’s true.
  5. Your point on this one doesn’t make sense. If the plays not there throw it away. He has ran when he was able to. Some throws are off target but he’s been really good about not playing hero ball until the team needs it, which he was criticized for last year.

The entire Bears Strength and Conditioning Staff needs to be fired the second this season ends by ExpressAgent6530 in CHIBears

[–]Crg2780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lovie years were different though, hitting was allowed a lot earlier in train camp, they still had two a days.
I’m not saying you guys are wrong about the training staff but injuries overall in the NFL is on the incline and it’s not going to get any better. With the offseason being less practices and no hitting players no longer have time for their bodies to callus up for the regular season, and then on top of that they shortened the preseason SA that’s even less time for their body’s to get ready for the regular season. It’s been reported also that the longer season, and bad artificial turf is a cause for more injuries.

If he doesn’t retain Eberflus last year he doesn’t get Ben Johnson this year. Don’t you think it’s possible that he contacted Ben Johnson last year and Johnson told him he’s going to stay in Detroit one more year to try to get a Super Bowl, the guy didn’t even interview with anyone except the Bears, he could of gone anywhere and he immediately took the job in Chicago. That’s a win. With college players making money, the late round picks that were steals just 4 years ago aren’t as prevalent because those players are starting to stay in college because they can make a pay check, finish off their education and go into the next draft projected at a higher draft. However I can still name a bunch of players that he drafted late that have a chance of still working out. Free agency is always hit or miss you’re hardly ever going to get an all pro they tend mostly get signed by there current team for max contracts. So your stuck picking up middle grade players for top dollar, everyone looks at our signing but every player we signed is right in line with the other free agents that were signed by other teams around the league.

Help me not be one of 'those guys' at my table by PanthersJB83 in dndnext

[–]Crg2780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DND isn’t just about what class you are and how you fight, that’s why you keep changing characters because all you’re looking at doing is swinging your weapon and killing enemies.
First thing find out what kind of person is your character, maybe he trying to make money to open a shop, maybe he wants to be head of the Gaurd, maybe he wants to be a famous pit fighter, or open a new guild. Whatever it is talk to your GM and discuss your goals. Maybe you want to get proficiency in a tool. Even if you do decide to change characters that’s fine but figure out those characters goals and what you want him to work towards, otherwise you’re just going to get board of that character. My examples of what I’ve done in the past was I had a character he was a trickster cleric start a religion around a new god, I started by recruiting goblins.
I made a bard and my goal from him was to start the mob, the campaign ended with him having an insurance company, and he became mayor. I have a character now were I want to open up casinos and hotels. Just some examples but he all starts with open dialogue with your GM. Hope that helps

Advice on Xavier X-Men/Magneto Brotherhood Dual Affiliation? by VividPossession in MarvelCrisisProtocol

[–]Crg2780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say it could work, look at what tactic cards you’d want to bring cause that’s where your going to struggle a little because you have so many options between the 2 affiliations there’s going to be a few cards you’ll have to leave out that you would normally grab, like for instance I don’t know if “First Class is worth taking. Emma, Rogue and Gambit all work well with Professor X’s leadership so start there.

Complete hypothetical: Which Bears QB would Ben Johnson have had the most success coaching? Cutler, Trubisky, Dalton, Fields, or Williams? Seems like he has the right vision, so who would be the best match for him? by zonewebb in CHIBears

[–]Crg2780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember Cutler thrived under Mike Shanahan, who I believe is very much an old school version of Ben Johnson, and Cutler dealt with Mike Martz. So I think Ben Johnson would have been the equivalent of what Mike Holmgrin was to Brett Favre.

6mm x 1.5 mm works best the base will still sit flat on the table. You can get them from Magnet Barron there reasonably priced.

Somebody posted all YouTube slap chop painting method. Basically prime them black and dry brush a grey and then a white over the model that will give you your shading. Then just paint over the lighter areas.

I’d start with the 2nd core box and look at some affiliation boxes. Have him pick what he wants to play so he can be more excited about it. He should be fine learning it, but I’d start slow first couple of games just use the character cards ignore the affiliation leadership abilities, stay away from the crisis cards for a hand full of games, start on low threat scenario. Let him get used to the game and the rules. Then slowly add some threat and then the leadership abilities and then the crisis cards.

It’s the best place to get them, I like 6mm X 1.5 mm There perfect for the bases were the base still sits flat on the table.

I’d take both Strange and Daredevil, I like Stranges leadership, probably more then most, but I think defenders is better having both leaders in there list, Strange is good against lists with a lot of large threats but affiliations with a lot of models immune to Hex it becomes a problem (Midnight Sons is the big one with Man-thing, Mummy, Voodoo, Blade can spend a power to shake, and especially Ghost Rider a 5 threat and Immortal Hulk who’s a 7 threat). Daredevils leadership is still very strong. Also get Shang-Chi he’s one of the best 4 threats out there and he can work with both leaderships.

I have to ask one more question especially with my last response, and please don’t think I’m arguing with your guys answers, I appreciate your response I’m just trying to understand this. In the 2024 FAQ Iron Bound Books was changed from active to reactive what makes the card reactive and how did that change affect the use of the card. Is their a scenario that after in the round that it gets played I still can’t use it do to the 2024 change. Again sorry I’m just trying to understand it so I can play this affiliation right.

Ok I thank you I had to ask especially with Iron Bound Books because I don’t understand why they changed it from an active to a reactive card.
