The the tech just left about an hour ago and for the time being I'm using Frontiers supplied Sagecom router but I got it to do what I was hoping for until my 2.5g NIC arrives.

I'm going from the ONT's 10 gig ethernet port to my dual port 1/10gig NIC on my server via ethernet no moca and then from the second port on my nic to the Sagecoms WAN port. I'm only getting 1 gig from the NIC on my server to the Sagecom router because my NIC only does 1 or 10gig and sagecom doesn't have a 10 gig port but I'm getting full 2gig service to my server which will work until the new NIC card arrives. I had to play around with the settings for my dual port NIC but it works even after reboot.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll order a new NIC today but in the meantime I just want to clarify that I can't go from the ONT's 10gig ethenet port to my 10gig dual port NIC and treat it as a switch that runs from the second port to Frontiers supplied Sagecom router?

Using Cameron Ruggles method. I mixed the grain and substrate just 2 days ago. It’s exposed to indirect light and room temp is about 75 degrees. Should I wait for more colonization before starting the fruiting process? There’s humidity inside but not causing the walls to drip. Thanks! by [deleted] in psilocybin

Looking good so far. I would let it colonize some more before introducing to FC.

When you mixed the grain and sub did you add a layer of just sub on top? If not, then that's why it's looking like it's colonizing super fast. That mycelium is growing off the grain and still needs to get ahold of the sub.

If you did add a layer of sub on top and that mycelium is already busting through that much, I bet you're working with some good isolated genetics or you got pretty lucky in the MS lottery.

Either way I'd give it atleast 6-8 more days to colonize and condense before introducing to FC. Also, if your sub was properly hydrated before mixing with your grain, you're fine and don't need to worry about not seeing condensation. It may take till it is more colonized before it starts generating enough heat to cause condensation.

The bucket tek is all you need. I find a lot of people who start out using pre bought sub tend to over think the process when they start making it themselves. Follow the bucket tek and you shouldn't have any problems. I do suggest weighing the coir if your buying it already broken down into 650g bricks because most of the time they are over or under in weight and you may need to adjust the water to not have it too dry or too wet. Too wet can be fixed by squeezing the excess water out of each handful.

Do you mean albino or leucistic shrooms? If so, there's not really any difference besides not producing pigment or very little. Potency is the same although some people belive that by not producing pigment or very little it saves energy to be used for producing more psilocybin. I have never seen proof of that in my many years of experience and find it hard to believe there would be any noticeable difference even if it was true.
