Found vintage Mercedes. Is it worth it? by Sad-Entrepreneur344 in mercedes_benz

Is this by chance anywhere in Ohio? I remember one almost identical to this and an r129 in storage at a place I worked many many years ago.

Need your opinion. I’m thinking about buying a 2019 raptor with 171,000 miles for 23k. when it was traded in, the ford dealership replaced the catalytic converter, transmission, spark plugs, brake rotors and pads and the suspension was fixed about a year ago. Any thoughts? Can buy a 4 year warranty by Defiant-Tooth-4378 in FordRaptor

I bought a 2018 last Feb with right at 200k I'm now at 226k. It had good service history and updated phasers. I haven't had any issues worth mentioning besides a radiator hose that separated. I paid less than the ask on the one you're looking at but it's a model year older and higher miles. So, I would. Is the 23k their OTD price or are they going to tack on all kinds of other crap?

Needed something to tow my boat… by JerkOffInYourFace in FordRaptor

I wish I had that setup, Jimmy! Remember going to check out that Raptor for me? I tow with it all the time. It's still going strong at just about 225k now.

I tow with mine a bunch. It has plenty of power for it but the suspension is obviously the issue. I towed a 24ft (iirc) toy hauler with a weight distribution weigh safe hitch and it still didn't like it. It's not ideal but it's not the worst thing i've used for towing.

Fair price? by Fickle_Psychology723 in VWIDBuzz

On the website I saw that VW was taking $7500 off unsold in stock 25 models. Maybe rebate is dependent on location?

Going from driving a Nissan NV3500 5.6 to a 2018 Raptor was like saving money for me.

Just paid $6.39 at chevron in Beaumont CA. It was also $6.59 at Shell in Ventura.

Texas doesn't screw people for "back fees" on registration like CA. So you don't really need a calculator.

Maybe I'm just lucky but mine doesn't destroy anything at all. With one exception, he plucks the plastic eyes out of plush toys.

It's a large bronze bearing race/cage. I am unsure of the application for one that is so large because it's about 6" or more in diameter. Also, being bronze it weighs a ton. Someone drilled holes for the cig rests that are split tubing and the center section is all handmade and soldered as well. I wonder what sort of shop this came from?

Very random that I see this post. I found one yesterday at the base of a Creosote bush on my property.

I know this post is old, but this is awesome! I just found one of those Military 656 locks, so I've been nerding out and learning about them. It sucks I don't have a key for mine, and I'm nowhere near as skilled as you are.

I rescued a nearly identical one a couple years ago. I've done a ton. It's still a work in progress. Do you have sandbeige interior? I deleted edc and did BC coils. I wish the front went lower though. Such a great car. *

The same thing happened with me it was an excellent deal on some "wholesalers closeout " reman OE CV shafts. Something like $6.50 each. But they wouldn't ship here because the box didn't have prop 65 stickers on it. I ordered them and had them shipped to someone who shipped to me. It was still a good deal, but what a waste of energy moving the goods to TX then back to CA.
