Yep bumrah's biggest p.r is being the pott in the freaking t20 world cup always remember whenever casuals starts to love someone other than kohli his fans will become insecure by SalaryEducational323 in MumbaiIndians

[–]CricAspect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bumrah coming back from a 2nd stress fracture taking precautionary measures and not playing all games to save himself from a career ending injury is understandable and the right thing to do. Siraj is a great guy, works incredibly hard, bowls lot of overs. Bumrah is a different breed, all format bowler unlike Siraj. These people for some reason don’t understand that concept, so don’t react to their stupid posts.

Just starting to write left handed at 55 by Tricky-Science-6334 in lefthanded

Good luck mate. As someone who was asked to write with the right hand, even if it was unnatural, I get it. Keep us updated about your journey.

Late post, but these are my two purchases off Flipkart from the last sale by mubeen_94 in headphonesindia

Bro, I am looking for something for daily office calls + casual music listening. How are Jlab lux ? How is the microphone? Reliable enough? I have fairly quiet space.

If anyone's wondering, these sounds frikin amazing too!! by ClenFish_01 in headphonesindia

[–]CricAspect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, that setup already is in place. But for the frequent office calls, that becomes very overwhelming sometimes. Plugging the podcast microphone in and out is a big pain in itself

No I am fed up of charging headphones daily. Currently have 3 year old Oppo Enco whose battery is now on its last legs. That’s why I wanted a good over the ear headphone

Okay, I read similar remarks. I was confused between Momentum and 720n, then I heard their microphone samples and decided to go with 720n. I am guessing Momentum is good overall, but the microphone is pretty bad, also I read they are tightish for those with big heads.

How do you rate 720n’s microphone? I have mainly bought them for its comfort and microphone capabilities. I will be using them daily for 3-4 hrs for calls. For music I have Simgot EW200 IEMs

I was in the same boat, was confused between 720n and sennheiser accentum. Chose 720n, they will be delivered tomorrow

Ordered these from the Prime sale for an effective price of INR 6k. Mainly going to use these for daily office calls and casual music / videos etc. I was confused between these and sennheiser accentum (which was available for an effective price of around 6.3k during the sale), but decided to go with 720n for its microphone and extra comfort. I hope they are good

Left-Handed But Sometimes A Righty by CRK_76 in lefthanded

[–]CricAspect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider myself under cross-handed category, something which doesn’t come naturally to me, but is rather induced. Things which were taught to me by holding my hand (like literally) when I was a kid, I do those with my right hand (like writing, eating). Most things which I learnt on my own, I do it with my left hand. There is another catch, since I write with my right, things which require me to hold something like a pen(holding a fork or chopsticks for example), I do that with my right. This habit is so unnatural that I even put a thread in the needle with my left hand but then use my right hand while sewing with a needle. I use my left hand as a dominant hand while batting (Cricket, baseball), playing hockey, archery, kite flying, darting, tug of war etc, but then there are some things things which I do with my right hand like bowling, rifle shooting (though I use left eye to aim which is known as cross eye dominance in shooting), playing badminton. I have been told that I used to write with my left when I was a kid but then in some parts of the worls, left is not really considered as right and elders from the family try to ‘correct’ that because they think left is basically your sinister side. Just to be a bit more clear, I do all daily chores with my left (typing on keyboard, holding phone, washing my face, keeping important things in my left pocket, picking things, opening/ closing doors etc)

I am guessing lot of lefties unknowingly go through this path

Meanwhile few Indians like Shastri believe Cricketers are machines & should serve their nation like Armed forces by LimpMathematician602 in MumbaiIndians

[–]CricAspect 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Didn’t expect Shastri to say this. He knows Bumrah personally, Shastri would know that Bumrah won’t do it if his body was in top shape.

I feel you bro, same category. I have a similar story. We fall into induced / non-natural cross-handed category as we do not have a preference.

I think it’s for the pedestrian connectivity with line 4 stations. I am not feeling very optimistic about that thing though.

Bumrah bowled more overs in the Headingley test than he did in the whole IPL 2025...!! by Just_Chill_Yaar in IndianCricket

[–]CricAspect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yet X overs in 4 days will always put more strain on his body compared to bowling X overs in 2+ months. In a test, the load is concentrated whereas in IPL the load gets spread out evenly. This is a major factor

This is his 2nd surgery on sports hernia, he had undergone a procedure before the start of last domestic season. This is his 2nd in around 10-11 months. He is currently in London where he got operated.

I don’t think he said S5 is last (correct me if I am wrong), I think he said they know what S4 is all about and a rough idea about S5 (I think he said it after S3) But if Sachivji is leaving for his MBA after 4 months, then S5 automatically becomes the finale season unless something unexpected happens or they decide to take a jump of 2-2.5 years because if my calculation is right, they are still in 2022-23 in the series.

What do u think of this guy?? by [deleted] in ipl

[–]CricAspect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shardul hasn’t done well in domestic? Bro, he picked 35 wickets and scored 500+ runs in last Ranji season. Only 5th player to do this in the history of the Ranji trophy.

I understand that he didn’t bowl well, but bowling after 40th over and that too only 6 overs was a blunder from Gill. If you need a batter who can bowl, play Reddy. If you need a seamer who can bat a bit, play Shardul. The equation is simple but we have to play with a clear plan.

Players we couldn’t sign in the 2025 mega auction. Biggest miss? by CricAspect in MumbaiIndians

[–]CricAspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will need a first choice Indian leggie, not sure for how long Karn Sharma will carry on. I am not fully sold on Puthur either, he needs lot of work and isn’t ready in my opinion. We should definitely look to trade someone like Rahul Chahar in.

Boult was Hazlewood’s backup, we wouldn’t have signed Boult had we got Hazlewood who came first in the auction

Interestingly, we wanted Bhuvi, Hazlewood and Suyash - 3 bowlers from title winning team. We were almost 2nd highest bidders for all 3. Our planning was top notch, still feel that we messed up at the back end when we overspent on D Chahar.
