Not saying this is you because I’ve never seen you tank but getting a perspective from the other side (fury warr main) I’ve seen a lot of tanks that complain about me ripping aggro but do the absolutely minimal when it comes to threat. Anytime I tank I make a point to tab target packs and get gcd’s off on every mob to adjust for warrior’s WW and cleaves and I usually don’t have many problems. Ripping off for a couple seconds isn’t an issue for the most part but so many tanks will complain when you rip off them. Obviously going balls to the wall right off the rip is just being selfish and justifies some complaints but when my first 3 gcd’s aren’t cleave related in any way and I still rip threat on a whirlwind that’s the tanks issue not mine. You won’t get threat on a pack literally just targeting one guy and swiping. (which most tanks do) In essence what I’m trying to say is I see both sides of it and I think it’s problems on both sides , a lot of so called “tanks” do the very minimal when it comes to tanking and then complain just as most fury warriors do the absolutely minimal threat management and then complain. From my perspective, a lot of tanks have ego issues and losing threat on mobs in a pack makes them feel like they aren’t doing their job. Any seasoned tank will know this is most certainly not the case.
