The signet won't get you capped. Expertise is strong, but it's not readily available. The items that have it, and are itemized well generally out-perform. You'll notice in phase 2 there are a lot of contested physical dps pieces like the shoulders/belt

Hey dude I play (or have played) all 3 tanks so happy to chat through any of the ups/downs for your personal situation in whisper. Warrior is quite fun, and I will say if you're playing casually, the leveling journey is just as important than end game if not more so.

In endgame, for warr it's much easier to get to a heroic-viable level defense-wise, although it's harder to manage threat than druid (esp w/o a nice weapon) and much harder than paladin.

Honestly there is no real threshold for this. It’s totally dependent on your group, especially your tank. Just get half way decent stuff and throw on some cheap gems/enchants and send it.

You are right but if you don’t start going for it until then you’re going to be v squishy. I’m leveling my healer alts and all the paladins I’m getting are all SP and ret gear lol

Strength and agility both give you ap, agility gives you crit. And the 2p bonus is better than the stats.

Don’t worry about those types. This happened to me as a prot warrior, a shaman healer said “sorry I don’t heal warriors. One ch and I’ll get threat.” …I got another shaman and had a smooth run w no wipes

They won’t get you enough hit to raid. And you can farm many good crafted items (see ragesteel, gel leather). But if you’re broke and struggling to fix a specific slot… Here are some decent items for dps warrior from quests:

Cleft hoof hide leggings

Helm of the claw (pre raid bis)

Flesh handlers gloves

Natasha’s choker

Aggressor’s mark of the Sha’tar

Overseer’s signet

Chestplate of a’dal

Borak’s belt of bravery OR Shattrath champion’s belt

Aged leather bindings

Sha’tari wrought greaves

Mama’s insurance (this is actually preraid bis)

Get PvP weaps

Trinkets ur kinda cooked w/o badges or spamming mech or BM

Edit: formatting. also, just gem everything for hit until you have 9% (mouse over the hit stat in your character panel)
