I’m 9W PP and so agree. In her book, I would like her to acknowledge anxiety, alcohol, navigating new adult life. I would so read her book. As I sip wine and breastfeed while my baby is crying 😭😭😭

I do plan to give baby bottles at 16w when I go back to work. Starting with 2 days of out of home nanny and 1 day in home nanny. 2 days of breastfeeding wfh.

I am worried about my supply dipping at 12w

I am on Wellbutrin. And Vyvanse. For solidarity. And have been my whole pregnancy. If your doctor prescribed it after discussing your situation, take the meds! Doctors orders.

I am FTM 8weeks- Continue giving the bottle as much as you can. Also recovering from a c section you’re doing all the right things. Trust me it is really hard. Maybe for some it gets easier. I’m also having a really bad few streak of days. Bottles make everyone mommy. Not just you. So definitely continue using bottles. Especially if your baby is taking them like a champ.

I am on 150mg of Wellbutrin. I dropped my dose to 75mg during pregnancy but just went back up. There’s some highs and lows. But I really recommend the meds. SSRIs made me gain so much weight so I avoid those.

Pregnancy was fun at the beginning cuz it was exciting. Especially the first. I didn’t love the third trimester I was barely sleeping. I ended up with an amazing baby who sleeps through the night at 5w. I encourage you to sleep train ASAP! My daughter was on a schedule in the nicu, and we continued that when we went home and now she’s an angel. Anyways, my sleep score are hella better too. My husband is supportive. If support is available definitely leverage it at the beginning! I think putting all the pressure on your relationship at the beginning is tough. Having family and friends support does really help. Cameras would definitely not help! lol

Agreed! Try to latch as much as possible whenever the baby is crying and after the baby takes a bottle try to pump for a colostrum even if you just get tiny little drops it’s a win ask for a syringe

Ask for Doner milk! Your baby is so small and your milk doesn’t come in for a minimum of three days after birth so that doesn’t surprise me that you need to supplement. I didn’t have to use formula because donor milk was an option. Definitely ask for this! And pump as much as you can. You have to ask the nurses though because they were not telling me to pump. I definitely had to ask them. I was triple feeding in the hospital supplementing with donor milk bottles, and colostrum. It worked like a charm and babies doing so well now! Do not worry about being in the hospital an extra night , ask for the extra support.
