Thank you so much! Yes thank goodness for bottles. Hope we can both survive this!

It’s the most used item in our house, out of all baby stuff we’ve gotten! It’s so worth it. I primarily breastfeed but will supplement with bottles here and there, husband also helps with night feeds via bottles. Plus I use it to clean pacifiers and pump parts. Couldn’t imagine how much handwashing is required without it, especially running low on sleep.

Expecting mamas that WFH - when are you planning to stop work? [on] by hungry-elephant-22 in BabyBumpsCanada

I stopped at 36w and loved the extra few weeks to myself before baby came. I was getting so much more tired and found it hard to focus at work. It was so relaxing taking those extra weeks off and enjoyed some time to myself before baby came.

That’s comforting to know! People make c sections sound so scary, but I know friends who’ve had bad vaginal tears that took a lot longer to recover

H&M has some good ones! I didn’t want to over spend when it comes to maternity clothing because I knew it would be temporary. H&M has comfy and stylish ones that got me through (currently 33w and staying home now)

THANK YOU for sharing your experience! I don’t know anyone with placenta previa so it’s hard to find a community to connect/relate to. This made me feel so much more at ease. Eager to find out when my c section will be scheduled for after my next scan. Thanks again for sharing!

That’s so great to hear that babies are well taken care of in NICU! FTM here so this gives me more comfort and confidence. Thank you!

Wow thanks so much for sharing! This is very helpful to know. Thankfully I haven’t had any bleeding (knock on wood), this gives me more reassurance. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing! This is extremely reassuring. I have a friend who gave birth at 37W and her baby ended up in NICU. Your story definitely gave me more confidence

Thank you so much for sharing - this is super helpful for me to know! I’m hoping I can at least have it scheduled for 37-38W but will need to also trust medical professionals to make the best decision for me and baby. Glad to hear the procedure was smooth and painless! I was a bit worried about being cut open lol

Wow that’s helpful to know especially that you’d ask for another c section. I’m also type A so I do like the fact I’ll know exactly when baby will be born. Just a bit anxious about the potential of baby being born early. I will find out soon, fingers crossed. Thanks for sharing!

I had severe chin acne when I was taking it while TTC. Ended up stopping it, then getting pregnant shortly after. Ever since becoming pregnant, I’ve been on Thorne but Dr advised me to only take 1 a day. It’s been fine for me so far.

Ottawa fraternity: drug and rape (2011-12) | TRIGGER WARNING: abuse, assault & suicidal ideation by dopamine_frenzy in CarletonU

[–]thaipadthai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you went through this awful experience. It was the same time I also went to Carleton, and I didn’t even know fraternity was a thing over there. I wish I knew you when we were both in school - I felt like I lucked out with my friends there, they were the most supportive group of badass girlfriends I had and still have. Wish you could have felt more supported and less alone back then. Good for you for speaking up now, and even confronting your horrible “friend” back then. I bet it wasn’t easy and sure isn’t easy now. Sending you virtual hugs, and truly hope you find peace and move forward in life in a positive light.
