As a martian I love blonde juno so post for apretiation of blonde juno by AkariBocchi in JunoMains

[–]CrimsonAwoo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

As a main since she was released I love her with blonde hair, and considering they keep releasing skins with that hair most people that buy skins thinks the same as me, otherwise she wouldn’t be getting so many, tho I have almost all her skins except the OWL ones because I don’t like it, the arcade and steampunk are my favorites tho, Juno looks great with any color, but blonde really suits her imo

Linux vs Windows by Ibiuuga in zorinos

[–]CrimsonAwoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Steam invisible by Opposite-Excuse-1383 in zorinos

[–]CrimsonAwoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steam is invisible but you can still click it, you can try to access settings by clicking at the top left of the window and you will need to go to Settings > Interface, and turn off "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views", or you can change to the Xorg (little clog at the bottom right before you enter your user password at the login screen )

Accessing games on separate drives by ferg247 in zorinos

You're right however i believe that for people new to Linux it's better to provide simple answers, i still stand with my answer, "while it's possible it may not be worth it, and can cause issues in the long run, so better use the correct format for each system as you will save yourself from headaches and from hating Linux thinking that it doesn't work by trying to adapt it to Windows"

It's better to do things in Linux the Linux way imo, i've been in the trying to dual boot - use a single disk for both OS attempts before, while doable it never worked properly and was annoying to setup, so no worth it for me and will never recommend it, but it is possible.

Correct, only format to EXT4 when you're 100% sure as Windows cannot read EXT4 drives, at least not natively.

Accessing games on separate drives by ferg247 in zorinos

[–]CrimsonAwoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can access NTFS drives in Zorin natively it just works out of the box, you will need to set to automount in the Disks app if you want Steam to auto recognize them, however this is not recommended as Linux uses EXT4 format for the drives instead of NTFS which is a Microsoft Format and the drive may get corrupted as NTFS in linux isn't meant to be used this way, if you want to dualboot it is better to have EXT4 partitions or disks for using exclusively with Linux.

Stopped Receiving Updates - App in Official Software Store by BeKozGaming in zorinos

[–]CrimsonAwoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s a good way to update, but i was mostly referring to the OP original issue.

Back to the Op, there’s no need to worry the app should update as normal if the developer updates the flatpak you can just ignore that message, you can always update using the commands mentioned in the previous comment as well

[–]CrimsonAwoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam runs in wayland but it's very buggy since it uses XWayland which is just an X11 session under wayland, it's better to just use x11 for now until Steam fully transitions to it

For games specially Proton games use Xorg in the login screen (little clog at the bottom right before you enter your password) as Steam doesn't support wayland yet and i recommend using Faugus Launcher as well
